Which HW fights would be most relevant or, if not relevant, just interesting to watch? Explain your reasons. Personally, I think these would be very good for the division:
Kubrat Pulev vs. Bryant Jennings. When/if Wladimir beats Jennings (unless the unexpected happens, which is never impossible in boxing), I would like to see these two go at it. I think it would be an interesting match and I consider them to be around the same level, based on what they have both shown so far.
Deontay Wilder vs. Tyson Fury. I personally think Wilder would knock him out, but we never know until it happens. I would love to see these two big boys go at it, they are both better than their haters give them credit for, even though they have yet to prove to truly belong to the elite. A fight between them would certainly push one of them closer to being considered elite fairly and none of them have fought a quality fighter their own size. The winner should get Wladimir.
Alexander Povetkin vs. Wladimir Klitschko. Povetkin is on a good killing spree right now. I know they already fought once, but I think we deserve a more clean rematch with less clinching. Povetkin is one of Wladimir's best wins and I don't think their first match was a cool example of one of Wladimir's best wins. On paper, good, visually, not good at all. Povetkin is clearly number 2 in the division right now, so it makes sense.
There are many other fights that I find interesting, but right ow, those 3 are on top of my wishlist.
No one gives 2 ****s about pulev and povetkin outside Eastern Europe
The majority of the heavyweight money is in Europe at the moment really, so that would make sense.
Wilder vs Tarver
Wilder vs Fury
Fury vs Wlad
I don't think Wilder is ready for Wlad right now.
Funny you should say that.
I have a sick feeling in my stomach Haymon will put together Wilder vs Tarver. Easy win for Wilder. Payday for broke Tarver. Haymon still controls the belt. The fans lose.
Wilder-Fury. Two huge, undefeated HWs with shaky chins. And one of them has a devastating right hand. The trash talk alone would make this fight intriguing.
I like them both too, it shouldn't matter where they come from if they're good fighters - and they are, especially Povetkin who is also an exciting fighter with power.
Nationalism and racism shouldn't matter in boxing. People should judge fighters by who they are in the ring, not by the flag they raise or by the pigment in their skin. Pulev never really impressed me, he's an okay fighter, I doubt he would go the distance against Wilder. Povetkin, though, is clearly the number 2 HW in the world right now, until anyone except Wladimir beats him.
I'm not Eastern European. Povetkin is a very good and underrated boxer.
Pulev was overrated, I knew that even before the Wladimir fight, but I like close matches and I think Pulev-Jennings would be an exciting fight with unpredictable outcome.

Klitschko-Fury
Two big guys who can box and punch, both with vulnerable chins. I really think this is a great matchup.
As for what would make the best fight:
Haye vs Povetkin. Similar sized guys who can both bang. Would love to see that fight.
Wladimir vs Wilder is also a good fight, but I still don't feel like Wilder would trouble Wlad much.
I would really like to see Wilder and Fury fight each other before the winner gets Wladimir and I think Haye needs a comeback fight before fighting Povetkin, who is on top of his game right now, but otherwise, I agree.

I would love nothing more than Wlad to have a clean good looking win over Povetkin but I think the way they clash they're going to both make each other look about two levels lower than they actually are and it will suck with a better referee too-just suck less. It still might be the most relevant fight out there because it would probably still be the first and second best guy in the division but it's the same as I think if Jennings and Perez fought again, we'd get both guys making each other look bad again. Sometimes they flatter each other, sometimes they do the opposite you know. Povetkin deserves another shot to see if he can adjust but I do not see good things coming from it.
It's about time we finally saw Povetkin vs Haye
I would certainly love that one and I considered to add it to the list, but I have my doubts that Haye will ever return to the ring and I'm not sure he will be the same fighter once/if he finally does. I would like to see Haye destroy at least 1 okay fighter in a comeback fight before fighting Povetkin. Haye could fight Stiverne or someone around that level first.
Good list
It's about time we finally saw Povetkin vs Haye
A healthy Helenius vs dethroned Stiverne could be cool too
Briggs vs Leapai just for giggles
This division is deeper than most practically anyone in the top 30 vs anyone else is interesting http://boxrec.com/ratings.php?sex=m&division=Heavyweight
