Other than the first Castillo fight I don't think he's had any help.
He definitely doesn't, Mosley was a devestating puncher in his younger days and still had major power in his welterweight run. The margarito fight tells you all you need to know.
what about the cotto fight?
always felt mosley's power was overrated, he's fast as sht and i always see him(even in the lighter weights) landing full fledged powershots flush on the chins of guys, countless of times before they finally wobble and are hurt, honestly floyd is the only one i've seen that got hurt the first time mosley touched him
he probabley does hit slightly harder than pacquiao, likely in that left hook, he seems a bit stronger, but from what i've seen when pacquiao lands his full power shot flush, guys are usually down or wobbled straight away
This is a pointless topic to be honest.
Mosley knows how to finish someone off.
But Floyd knows how to survive and break a rhythm.
Saying Sugar is 'pathetic' is ignorance and stupidity.
Even if the judges help him out a bit. Happens for all the popular boxers.

You think Pacman has more one hitter power than MOSLEY???

Yeah i agree with this. Mayweather showed in that fight that he has an A class chin, but will he be able to take a Pacquaio shot flush? Those are going to be one of the questions going into the proposed May 2nd fight.

it was pretty smart and quick reaction too.
Ya it was really impressive how quickly he reacted and negated any follow up. His recovery time in general is very good though, chop chop rocked him in their fight and he snapped out of it within the same round.

I'm pretty certain he will, I mean Manny isn't some huge puncher at 147 anymore and hasn't had a KO since 2009. This isn't necessarily a prime Tommy Hearns we're talking about here. Manny's chance is to outwork Floyd and sway the judges in his favors by being more active.
Floyd not watching opponents fight videos, not sparring, Floyd adjusting, opponent gassing out 2nd half of the 12 round fight, same old same old.
what exactly is he adjusting?
Does he clinch/hug more on the 2nd half?
Does he runs more in the 2nd half?
Does his punch rate increase in the 2nd half?
Does he jabs more on the head or in the stomach in the 2nd half?
Does he jabs more or make more right straights right cross, left hook, right hook?
What does he do more in the 2nd half than on the first?
What does he does less in the 2nd half than on the first?
again what adjusting does he do exactly?
And all his opponents do the same thing from first round to sixth and then everything they do from first to sixth they just do less of it from the seventh to the twelve because they gassed out?
Boxing analyst :loser:
Floyd always adapts quickly and takes away a fighters strengths and that is what he did. Fighters who have any early success fail because Floyd neutralizes them so that they cannot use that same weapon that worked for a brief period. And Shane does not have great stamina and defense and Floyd picked up on that and pressured Shane and had him going backward.
Definitely agree, being able to adjust Is what makes Floyd an excellent fighter and has allowed him to keep his 0. Floyd better hope he finds a way to adjust when It comes time to step Into the ring with Pacquiao because he Is going to see speed, movement and angles like he has never seen before.
In the end I think he will make the necessary adjustments and win by decision but not before losing 4-5 rounds.
finish floyd off or atleast knock him down on the second roundFloyd always adapts quickly and takes away a fighters strengths and that is what he did. I think props go to Floyd and that Mosely was just a bad style for Shane anyway
I still keep thinking on the choice of punches Shane threw when he hurt him...He threw those wide ass power punches Floyd could see a mile away...
I think a fighter with anotheer style would have atlest got more punches in....Floyd was badly hurt
Props to shane tho...nobody has hurt Floyd like that since....outside of that right Marcos landed at the bell in the rematch
I hope Manny atleast gives us a OMG moment even if he get outclassed
Floyd was on roids Mosley wasn't that's one of those 3 failed test. Do you recall how Stewart would say I can't believe how Floyd looks like the stronger fighter
You telling storys again Lieutenant buhahahahaha
i dont think it says anything except mayweather has a legit chin we have seen it multiple times. he got clocked with a punch that drops almost any fighter but he was able to take it which just makes his defense that much better. He got hit flush in the mosley and hatton fights but the hardest punch i think he has ever took in recent memory at least was the one talked about the least in the second maidana fight at the end of the round that punch literally makes for lights out for most fighters no doubt about it
It was just Mosley doing natural reflexes, when he realizes that was not according to plan, he suddenly run out of gas
finish floyd off or atleast knock him down on the second round

He held on to Mosley like an obsessed girl clings to he boyfriend after a break up and vs maidana the round ended and he looked rocked, hardly any proof. It does show however he has an amazing defense because of his stance he's always prepared to take a hit... Big difference.
If anything it's the other way around. Because of his D when gets tricked people land huge flush punches on him. The Maidana punch was at the end of the 3rd round, and he took the entire next round running around recovering.
