The U.S guys like who Jacobs and Quillin, who else is there of the divison in that stable, let those creeps rematch each other again and again whilst the rest of the divison moves forward.I detest Haymon,I can't think of anything worse than Lemieux signing with that trick.ROC can offer him more money and/or a shorter contract, they got the money.
Not slating your opinion, just asking you to elaborate a little more.the division is deeper than the US guys in it,if anything the top guys aren't from the States.
Hougigo said big Stateside fights, so to my mind most of the big US fights at MW involve American fighters. That was the basis of my comment.
It seems GBP have signed him though which I suppose leaves doors open to Canelo and Golovkin but not a lot beyond that?
I don't see Canelo fighting him any time soon and I think Golovkin would kill him.
I wonder if Lemeuix will be down with that because he already passed up an eliminator with N'Dam to pursue the WBC route
I know Lemieux turned down the offer when it would've been him against Sturm, then I thought Stevens accepted, then Sturm dropped out and N'Dam stepped in? I have a feeling N'Dam gets bumped off via 'close decision' when he finally fights whoever Mora/Taylor/Quillin/Jacobs.
Wasn't Daryl Peoples on board with the WBC & WBA for unifying all the champions? Maybe Al dumps the titles then.
Golden Boy's stable is pretty slim right now, I don't think they take their two biggest stars and match them together, in particular while one's still at JMW. Use Lemeuix in NY/MTL & Alvarez in LV/LA/SA and they have headliners for their shows to develop their younger fighters.
If I was Oscar, I would start pushing Lemeuix up the IBF rankings. It's looking like Haymon wants to secure the IBF title, and Lemeuix looks capable of knocking off the current crop of Haymon MW's. With a title, Lemeuix's worth a lot more against Golovkin or ppv with Alvarez.

He's going Roc Nation or GBP. They have money to throw around and it WILL be thrown.
Oscar needs to stack that roster, and not just with these Salka type guys,he needs genuine talent.can they compete with ROC though ? This be interesting times right now.
. Just pray he doesn't go with Haymon.
This.echoes my exact thoughts.
Hate to say it but in that case he should probably go with Haymon, he's got the US guys of the MW division.

When i said big, I was talking like the big big ones... Cotto/Canelo... only possible w/o Haymon
Exactly, with all see crazy offers been thrown around and ROC looking to make waves, this really is the best time to be a free agent.ROC have obviously worked long and hard on signing up Ward,Lemieux is a HUGE draw north the border,he's got the skills power and dare I say it looks too lol,he could polarise viewing figures if they keep him away from GGG,a grand ploy from ROC would be to poach GGG away from Lemieux to face Ward, thereby being able to take the top spot in the divison, depending on how Cotto/Canelo/Floyd triangle plays out of course.

Lot of good points here.
Also HBO wants nothing more than a English speaking white guy who knocks guys out.
They'll make life good for golden boy and David they put this thing together.

In addition to settling arbitration w/ Schaefer & cutting ties w/ Haymon, @GoldenBoyBoxing has signed @lemieuxboxing. Story coming. #boxing— Dan Rafael (@danrafaelespn) January 10, 2015
That Works Also! He at least guaranteed a shot at Canelo since Oscar don't have many other options if the Cotto vs Canelo fight can't get done

So we now have a Cotto back up... but yea... he's pretty thin now that people left for Haymon.
He's on an international kick too

Looks like he wants the Canelo fight.

Cool. Hopefully we'll get Lemiuex vs. Lee/Saunders/Heiland/Geale next.
