I've got him at #2 or #3, I could accept either.
I actually think he is the best P4P fighter around right now, but given what Mayweather has achieved it's hard to move him from top spot unless he loses or f*cks off.
I have Rigo at 2nd best in the world pfp with GGG as the best. People never get it? Pfp is how good you think a fighter is and not who he beat. World ratings are based on who you beat or lost to. Pfp is based on potential or who you think he could beat so it's just personal opinion. If you don't think Rigo deserves 4th place then he doesn't. If you think he is the best pfp then he is. It's all up to who is doing the ratings.
The fact you got Golovkin at 3 and Kovalev at 4 shows how much you know. What has been Golovkin biggest win? Kovalev? I enjoy both of them but outside of beating past prime greats and never was boxers doesn't mean much. Although Rigondeaux hasn't fought as much as many would like, his performances are that of certain perfection (wise of skill). Though I do enjoy Golovkin he hasn't had a break through performance against a top opponent and neither has Kovalev. Next year both will have a huge year I'm sure but as of now... they have not.
lol what the hell...so do you
I would argue that Lomachenko is far more skilled than Rigo, at-least offensively. His resume is too thin now to judge him, but after he beats Grado and Walters, he'll be ranked above Rigo.
No he isn't and Lomachenko couldn't even neutralize Salido's overhand right. Lomachenko does defend but I still think he stands too straight up for my liking, Rigondeaux does the opposite, he stays low.

A "far more skilled fighter than Rigo" wouldn't have been bullied around by Salido, plus it's apparent that P4P Rigo hits harder than Loma, he's just not as active. Both are great fighters for sure though.
Floyd Mayweather Jr
Andre Ward
Adonis Stevenson
Terence Crawford
Danny Garcia
... Is it OK now?
... Or it should be Jermain Taylor instead of Danny?
There should be vacant ranks.
No, there was no case for Broner at that time. The Ring were the only ones who had him for a reason.
That wasn't even the point, but he was a 3 division titlist which stacks up well with most of the rest of the sport if you want to be honest. Before he got beat up~
Now was he ever really worthy of that sort of ranking nope, but it was not like others were holding him back by doing big things.
Same thing with Rigondeaux really, he is just a much better fighter in reality.
It was why Broner snunk up so high also, people just hated on it then because it was dumb but in reality the top ten is paper thin. You can make an argument on guys recent work say Kovalev but the only real difference is Kovalev is more recent. I don't include heavies in my P4P I am a traditionalist but I can see the case for having him high also if one did.
Also is is such an opinion driven thing in the first place that in such cases after the obvious guys you can put about 15 names in whatever order you want and not be off the mark.
Also why i choose to leave Andre Ward on my list because it makes me frown less when I look at it.

Fact is P4P top 10 is pretty weak right now. Ordinarily it would be crazy to have a guy with only a handfull of topflight wins way up in the top 5. But who are putting in there ahead of him? Mayweather obviously. Manny Pac (though he hasnt looked great against great opp for years). Wlad Klit? Fooking Bradley? Cotto?
Resurrect Hopkins for one last run he can prob break into the top 5 too lol

That's the part people don't seem to understand. Rigo's ascent had a lot to do with guys losing. Sergio was done, Marquez lost to Bradley, Bradley had lost to Pac before, Mares lost, Donaire obviously lost to Rigo, Wlad looked like garbage against Povetkin, Pac got knocked out by Marquez, Ward isn't fighting.
A lot of the fighters ahead of Rigo lost their spots, and he humiliated a top 5 p4per. Of course he's top 5, at least.
Look it up. Sergio was p4p #3 behind Mayweather and Pacquiao for years. People argued he should be p4p #1. That opinion didn't really change until after the Chavez fight, when he had his injuries. He didn't drop out of the top 5 until after Murray, and even then people clung on and thought he should be there.
He looked better against Chavez minus the kd than he had looked a few fights earlier. And he hadn't impressed against Barker and Macklin, i'm pretty sure most boxing fans didn't have him as the 3rd best boxer in the world by then.
Hopefully Rigondeaux will have solidified his status by the end of the year so there will be more facts and less speculation.

You're making it up, and he started to drop at least in the fantasy rankings as soon as he had fought Barker.

Martinez knocked out Paul Williams when PWill was "officially" p4p number 3 but Martinez hasn't been regarded as a #3 p4p for long since he didn't look flamboyant after the Dzinziruk fight. I'm not sure Rigondeaux's performance against Amagasa was top 5 p4p worthy either.
How about Bradley when he went to War with Provodnikov? People had him top 5 p4p.
Mayweather when he scraped by a Maidana who was soundly/easily outboxed by Devon Alexander? He's P4P no.1
Wlad Klit held on to Povetkin like his life depended on it for the duration of the 12 rounds... top 5 p4p.
Yet Rigo dominates nearly every second of a fight (except about 30 secs in the 7th) stopping the guy on his stool and apparently its a bad performance :lol1:
I really hope LSC takes his stabilizers off and fights Rigo this year. That goes for Quigg and Frampton too. Hell even Kiko Martinez.
People doubting Rigo's quality are in for a shock
Martinez had people arguing he was p4p #1 for years because of the Williams rematch. He was top 5 until the Murray fight because of it.
