Anyone whose paid attention to the khan-alexander fight knows alexander was landing good counterpunches whenever khan predictably comes in. Do that style against provo i dont see the fight going beyond the first round.
Khan beats the s.h..it out of the Russian I'd say pitches a shut out or damn near, if he stays focused through out the whole fight .
Provo has a punchers chance but he probably isn't going to land that shot against Khan
I really like both guys, but Algeri showed us that a guy that can box and move gives him problems. Provodnikov even admitted to it in the post fight interview.
Khans length, speed and ability to box would be too much for Ruslan. Khan easily outboxes him. Khan knows Ruslan can punch, and no way does he stay inside long enough to get tagged. Also at 147 Khan is the bigger guy.
I don't have a bias here because as I stated I am a fan of both guys, but Ruslan iis too slow and flat footed for Khan
Ruslan would be the hardest puncher he's faced. It doesn't take much for Ruskin to hurt someone
Especially early on. Ruslan wrecks him in under 2 rounds.
Khan by Decision. I don't think Rutland has the composure to beat the high ranked. But I also believe Provodnikov would be a much harder hitter than Garcia. If Provodnikov lands a few times... it's a done deal!
Khan is leading on points when Ruslan hurts him and finishes him and that could happen in any round. There is a reason Khan hasn't fought a big puncher since Garcia knocked him out. Khan and team don't trust his chin.
Khan UD
Ruslan is a threat for about 3 rounds, after that he goes downhill.
I dont think he could even time Khan.
Maidana is a much better boxer than Ruslan
Also at 147 Khan is very stong
Goes one of two ways imo, Khan could mess Ruslan up badly, peppering his face with combinations and moving while tying him up if he got close.
Or Ruslan could land the big shot he needs, only thing is Ruslan is not much of a finisher.
