Won the Light Flyweight title earlier in 2014, and now wins the Super Flyweight Title in 2014
He lives up to his nickname. He is a Monster.
War Inoue!!!!!!!!
That takes a lot of work. I don't feel like looking at spreadsheets right now. I'm drinking fool. lol
I'm also drinking too right now but that doesn't mean I can't make a list neither. I am just asking you. You go first, and then I will make mine. You don't have to do it now
:lol1: :lol1::dance:

Also, I don't make a list without actually watching them fight. I sometimes leave notes on the fights to help me remember on my spreadsheet as well as round by round analysis. I was actually thinking of making a thread and posting it.

If not Ali, then who do you feel is the greatest boxer ever.
Depends. There have been other boxers that have had more divisions to play with and done more with them.
It is up for discussion and it is close. Personally I think he's the greatest HW but not the greatest ever. I know I'm not alone with my opinion.

The Greatest of all time is Muhammad Ali and it is not even close. It is not up for discussion. 3 Athletes have established themselves as the greatest in their sport. Basketball, Hockey, Boxing. Other Sports like Football, Baseball, MMA, Soccer, You can debate those. But in Basketball, Hockey, and Boxing, there is no debate
Michael Jordan
Wayne Gretzky
Muhammad Ali

and estrada would completely own inoue. estrada is far more battle tested, proven, excellent boxing ability and power. again, there is a reason why inoue completely avoided flyweight in favor for an easy title win against the 40 year old little narvaez.
You're right, there is a reason Inoue avoided Flyweight. None of the champions were available for late December. It was also the same reason that Ioka ended up with JPP on Dec 31st. Offers were sent to fighters though when Reveco was injured plans had to change. Gonzalez had been active about 6 weeks earlier, Estrada fought Alvarez (and didn't look good a all in that one despite the cards all being wide), Amnat was tied up with the Shiming bout and and Reveco had he rescheduled mandatory.
Inoue had also offered a bout with Kono who turned it down
Something else worth noting was that he is now fighting at what he, his promoter, his trainer/father all accept is his "natural" weight.
Through 8 fights he has the scalps of 3 world champions on his resume. Very impressive. BrushMyHair gets a bit out of hand though. Next week he'll probably make a thread titled "Is Naoya Inoue the G.O.A.T.?",.
I think Inoue better test the waters against a little bit heavier of a puncher than the opponents he's faced so far before a fight against Cuadras, :boxing:.

Yeah Brush tends to go overboard and out of hand rather quickly :lol1: reminds me of divine hammer, hilarious because divine is he same type of poster to claim GGG is an ATG and living legend yet doesn't acknowledge what Inoue has accomplished in 8 fights.
Oh and Cuadras is a bantamweight who dropped down to get a belt, he would give Naoya the most trouble out of anyone at the weight or 112 in my opinion. He could test his chin against Tete if Zolani gets past Butler.
When you're not a black American you always have to work harder and do more to earn the acceptance of goofy boxing hipsters and the slick brothas.
To be honest, majority of so called boxing fans only really pay attention to some parts of the world. Asia is one of the places that doesn't get the respect/attention it deserves.
Crawford beat a guy coming off a jaw injury though I give him props for beating him at his home, beats Gamboa who doesn't belong at the weight, and beats Beltran who is like a 3rd/4th tier type of fighter.
Inoue beats the two best guys in their division and is a two division champion. One of them, he climbed TWO divisions. All in under 10 FIGHTS.
It's not fucking rocket science to see this.

For what it's worth he's been sparring with Iwasa and Tunacao among others, both solid Bantamweights.
I'd actually watch them in order...you see him show new things in every one of them. In his debut you get blown away by the natural talent, the second bout you see a Robinson-esque Hook KO, third fight he spends most of it fighting 1-handed (and putting on a master class), against Taguchi he's forced to battle and grit his teeth, against Mancio he goes on a heat seeking mission to destroy, he shows a bit of everything against Hernandez, seems to never get out of 3rd gear against Samartlek then goes all "I am MONSTER" against Narvaez.
Yeah, that's the best part about this young man. He has different gears and abilities and he summons and utilizes what he needs at the proper time. I was amazed with everything he brings to the table and although he is open to getting hit, his natural skill and abilities allow him to overcome any adversity thus far.
I would love to see Carlos Cuadras vs Naoya Inoue, Carlos would have a greater chance at beating him than Estrada, Gonzalez and any other fighter in the 115 division.

You are ignorant in regard to these divisions if you believe Super Fly is the weakest division. Neither Roman nor Estrada would "easily ko" Naoya. In fact I could see him beating Estrada, my personal favorite active fighter.
Naoya Inoue vs Ryoichi Taguchi is a good one to start on. Only fight to go the distance and that's only because he injured his hand very early in the fight. The display of technique and power is one thing, a one handed dominance is another.
Check out his recent destruction of Omar Narvaez in 2 rounds, it is stunning the way he disposes of a rugged veteran so easily. His 3rd KD is sick. He waits for Omar to step in sloppily, takes a little step back and unloads a massive left hand that drops the old dog. The stoppage was sick too.
Much appreciated mate. Will check those ones out.
