Both are the top two Mexican fighters in the sport right now(Sorry Chavez Jr but your inactivity is costing you) and whilst Canelo has had his shot at Mayweather, Khan has yet to have his.
My question is who has the bigger following in Mexico, is it Canelo who has the bigger fanbase or is it Khan who has the backing of the realest raza and biggest Mexican rapper in the game right now in Mr Capone-E?
It's a tough one that's for sure.
On one hand you have the fan base of Canelo, full of ladies mostly who support him based on his good looks and red hair and on the other hand you have Khan who has the support from the streets with Mr Capone-E on his team and all the true Vatos and Chicanos who follow Mr Capone-E and support Khan due to his affiliation with Capone-E.
It's a toss up but i'd like to hear from some real Mexicans on who has the bigger fan base on the streets of Mexico.

I can't tell if everyone in this thread is trolling or not. Is everyone in this thread just acting like they dont know Khan is mexican? Isn't it obvious by looking at his middle name Miguel? Khans parents were both born in Pakistan but their parents (khans grandparents) are mexican(born in mexico). Khan was born in England so he's considered Pakistani-English but he is 100% mexican blood. As a matter of fact he's Abner Mares third cousin.
All my chicano homies have been down with Khan from the get. As you can see even the legendary ATG chicano rapper Mr. Capone-E is riding with Khan.
Fvcking Khan, the puto shocked me with his big balls facing Canelo. I gotta go with Khan. Canelo should have thrown down with GGG and shown how Mexicans do it.
Khan my get crushed, but he stepped up big time.
From Wikipedia:
Amir Miguel Khan (born 8 December 1986) is a Mexican professional boxer. He is a former two time world champion by winning WBA, WBA (Super) and IBF Light Welterweight titles.
Khan is the youngest Mexican Olympic boxing medalist, winning silver at the 2004 Athens Olympics at the age of 17. He is also one of the youngest Mexican world champions ever, winning the WBA Light Welterweight title at age 22, the first-ever Mexican Pakistani boxing major world champion.
Anything else you'd like to add, mr smartass?
