Hamed was LEGIT. Proved himself vs everyone he could for years, a solid champion. He earned a ton of money, brought an immense amount of eyes to the fight. Broner isn't even close to Hamed. As soon as Broner fought someone somewhat dangerous and someone who wasn't comfortably smaller than him, he got outclassed. Hamed was NOT at his best for the Barrera fight, i'm pretty sure most people know that BUT styles make fight and honestly it had to be someone as good as Barrera with his style to beat Hamed. Technically Hamed wasn't ever the best, physically he was amazing. Great speed, power and reflexes but I feel as though Barrera that night would have beaten Hamed at any point of Hameds career...and i'm a big fan of Hamed.
WHAT?!? hamed took such an all-encompassing loss that he quit boxing in his prime.
It certainly wasn't his prime. He had huge hand problems as well as not being mentally there in training.
It was well known Hamed had stopped training that much, and would just train to make weight.
He was an absolute BEAST when he was younger and training all the time.
When you train to lose a dramatic amount of weight, you get what happened, like Duran Leonard 2
Adrian "Another *****ass" Broner most definitely. Hamed wrecked people with style and lost to an ATG. Broner got pummeled by a B fighter because he is also a B fighter. Also all the sissy **** Broner was pulling in the ring. Excessive holding, looking to the ref for help, doing that gay humping ****, falling on the canvas rolling around like a crybaby trying to get Maidana DQed, sucker late punch after the bell in the 11th. Then he ran from the ring like a ***** after the fight.
Comparing MAB/Naz to Broner/Chino is kinda ridiculous. The former duo all time greats.
The latter all time great A$$holes

babe, when you put out more fighters like froch and not these half-a-phags like hamed and khan, trust that it'll be a lot easier for you to be a fan.
i think its time for you to get drunk again and make a love thread for hamed now and convince yourself that he was the best featherweight of his era :lol1:
now fok off.
Froch is only now starting to make the money Naz did during his prime and he's talking about retiring to spend time with his new family.
Naz had amassed a fortune, had just started a family and didn't need to box any more especially with constant hand injuries.
But yeah man it's cos Barrera turnbuckled him in a fight he didn't even train for. That's the real reason!
@ 5:00 - and then soon after putting his hand out to barrera, our warrior was having none of it. Humping is for boys, denying a hand shake, that's a mans move.
I was feeling down a bit earlier, this actually improved my mood.
Tapia. .

Keep telling yourself that :pat:
How old are you? You do realise boxers have lives outside of the ring?

i can see how broner got more humiliated, i'm just a bigger picture type of guy and take it all into consideration. getting full-nelson'd into that corner is EXACTLY what made naz quit, look at the look in his eye right after. he was a kid in 5th grade with no where to turn to just hoping for the earth to open up and consume him.
good call on the tyson fight, IMO holyfield was such a dirty fighter up there with bhops and drove tyson to lose his cool big time.

I dont think the loss was the sole reason he quit. But it was one of the reasons.
I think Broner got more humiliated.
Naz didnt take a beating, but looked a little silly.
Broner was laughed at for weeks.
Id say Tyson getting beat down by Holyfield beats both. The baddest man of the planet got thoroughly spanked by the old man.

hamed fought another fight? news to me, must've been against a nobody obviously and not worth the mention.
everyone has injuries. stop making excuses, it's pathetic.
naz stepped up to an elite, got wiped and called it a career, excuse me, after his UD win against calvo :lol1:
had nothing to do with the loss? gtfoh. not even you believe this bs..
hamed bowing out how he did was one of the most pathetic things in boxing i've ever seen given how much of a talker he was.

Completely outclassed? I love how history rewrites itself with this fight. It was a pretty competitive fight throughout and i believe two judges had it very close.
Also, Barrera was reluctant to fight with Naz, but merely threw more punches. That's more or less how he won the fight. It was a good fight.
On top of that, Naz had to boil himself down 10 pounds or so the night before. But that's his own problem.
If that was the case, then why did he fight another fight? It's a lazy depiction of what actually occurred.
What really happened was that Naz had had hand injuries for a while. He'd also had weight problems. he also had made a furtune. Something like $50 million. After the barrera fight, HBO weren't extending the contract and his adidas deal fell through but most importantly, Naz just didn't really want it anymore.
It had nothing to do with the loss itself.
