Shout out to 78 sports tv for the video:
Also, a comment from a user at youtube that made alot of sense:
"These boxing fans are biased because when kovalev who is a knockout artist fought hopkins it went all 12 rounds and he didn't win every round and he was praised for his boxing skills but keith does the samething and he gets slaughtered by the boxing media and don't forget bundu is a 3 time Olympian who was 32-0 so don't say that he is not good. "- youtube user benny little
Yes I love Mayweather and his comment hurt my feelings :(
I guess since numbers don't lie Wilder is also better defensively than Floyd/Manny/Bradley. He's also getting ko's so that's a plus something the other three aren't doing.
No I watched half the video and the guy was making an ignorant comparison. Unless you agree Thurman is better defensively than the three guys mentioned? The other three guys have fought world champs while Thurman is fighting journey men, that makes his comparison laughable to even entertain.
:pat: he also compared resumes. Again, you wouldve understood that BUT like you said you didn't watch the whole video :pat:

terrible comparison. kovalev was marching forward, schooling bhop all 12 rounds while brutally punishing him with power punches, that isn't what thurman did to bundu.
Again, "He's a big puncher, if I would've traded with him, I would have gotten the worst of it"- Leonard Bundu
"He still has power even later in the fight. I didn't take no chances, HANDS UP"- Leonard Bundu
those are leonards bundu's own words.
You can't trade with a running man. It's physically impossible. Thurman was the one avoiding the trade. He doesn't like getting punched in the face.

i dont buy it all the guy talks about is never taking a backwards step and knock out this knock out that he did it to himself the same way broner did plus lets not pretend that a ton of his fans/hype were from the idea that thurman might be able to beat mayweather and soon people realized thats probably not likely he also lost half his fans. I hate to bring mayweather up in this thread but it is what it is alot the "boogie man" type fighters get their fans from fact they think they may be the one to give mayweather a loss and anyone who disagrees with that is not paying attention to how fighters are hyped by certain fan bases. Not only that but how many times has he said he wont make a boring fight just to make sure he gets the win? you cant go against everything u say then expect people not to call you out for it give me a break if u think people should ignore it he did it all to himself has nothing to do with how he actually fought its that he did everything he promised he wouldnt and hes full of ****
Maybe Diego Chaves was right...Thurman was lucky to caugh him with that bodyshot...
Hahaha now that people have seen Chaves is a very good fighter, Thurman was lucky to beat him? Amazing :lol1:
Thurman threw the body shot with the intention of doing what he done, how is that lucky?
bundu can't punch, what are you talking about? dude has 11 KOs.
never said thurman was exposed or he is a hype job, i only put on manifest how disappointed i was with the fight going the way it went. what happened with "KOs for life"?
I think he meant aggressive fighters. Quintana is the only boxer Thurman has fought so far (on a respectable level) and he was the aggressor in that fight.
Bundu isn't a puncher (he has got decent pop though), but he's physically very strong, it's hard to beat him on the inside. And he headbutts a lot.
I would like to see Bundu fight Guerrero or Alexander next
I made a youtube playlist of his fights in order. I can post them if you want. He fights like that. It depends on what the opponent brings. If they box, hell punch and if they punch hell box and counter punch. Thats just the way he fights and for him to even have ko's against fighters like karass, who alexander went the distance with, quintana, julio diaz, who some fighters at top welterweight rankings went the distance with or struggled, yet keith thurman is a "bum" and got "exposed". Thats freakin hilarious. Ya just mad ya homeboy maidana was scared to fight thurman cuz he had "too many kos". :nono:

that right there in lies your problem. If you heard the whole video, then make a comment I would understand, but since its against mayabe your favorite fighters you dont wanna hear the numbers. Remember? Numbers don't lie.

This video is utter crap. I stopped watching after the dude made the argument of proving Thurman was a better defender and took less punishment than any of the top three WW's in the world; Mayweather, Pacquiao, and Bradley.
He actually sums up the amount of times each of the 4 guys has been hit in their last five fights, disregarding the level of opponents, to prove Thurman takes the least punishment.

I don't think anyone's saying he got exposed, at least not in this thread. Comparing their victories(Hopkins, Thurman)against their respective foes is simply ridicuolus.
The opponent came forward all night for Thurman and he was hesistant to throw simple as that, he really took very few risks in there.
you should see the hate on other threads. Its retarted. I understand your point of view. My thing is that bundu was feinting so damn much its hard to time him. Thats how gavin got beat. Plus in the thurman fights ive seen he fights more or less the same. It depends on what the opponent brings as well.
I see no one has said any comments on the video to even try and counter what 78sports stated. Still waiting. Whats wrong haters?
