He says his contract is up with Golden Boy. I was wondering why Oscar was sucking the skin off of Khan this whole week
:pat:
This is just an observation ..... But, I don't think anyone is immune to aging. And last I checked both Floyd and Pac are aging at the same time.
It can be said that Floyd style will suffer less with aging(safety first usually last longer in he boxing world).
A Khan Pac fight would be awesome!
I know Amir is invested in fighting Floyd, but surely a PAC fight is just as awesome?
I do get it. He has a much better chance at beating Floyd and therefore more Glory. By now, hopefully he is resigned to not fight Floyd.
If the Pac Floyd fight doesn't happen, Khan will probably fight Pac. That should be awesome! Oscar will not be too happy with Khan leaving, but that is the nature of the beast.
I think Khan should remain a free agent if he can, or join TR.
Really makes no difference. Khan is stills Haymon fighter which until Haymon comes out with his own company he will most likely still fight under the gbp banner
Seems like Khan is waiting on Floyd to find out if he should stay with Golden Boy.
I heard almost a month ago, that Khan reps had been talking to Top Rank, and Pacs Team.
This is just speculation, but if FLoyd doesn't fight Pac, and I doubt he will, he will fight Danny Garcia or Cotto. And Khan, now a floating free agent like Cotto, will fight Pac.
If Pac or Khan fight doesn't materialize for Khan, then Brook fight makes a lot of sense..
It can will 80k at Wembley and would be for a title.
Yes a big fight with a title on the line
However i dont see Khan taking that fight until after he has secured a fight with Pac, Floyd, Bradley or a rematch with Danny Garcia
Khan wants another big fight in the US to build off the momentum and his revival

The Brook Fight Currently makes more sense than a Khan Fight simply because Titles are at Stake.
The HBO Broadcast had more views than the Showtime one apparently.
I'm not even american but it doesn't take one to know that HBO is in millions of more homes and their cards always do higher ratings than showtime ones. 14 of the 15 highest rated fights of 2014 were on HBO
Why resign with Golden Boy when Haymon has the Showtime TV relationship pretty set and Mayweather and possibly Eddie Hearn (Matchroom USA) will have their own promoter's licenses?
Mayweather vs Khan, Khan vs Pacquiao, and Khan vs Brook are the three biggest fights available for Amir, and Oscar literally has no stake in any of those fights. lol
I was looking at the existing promoters so that's why I didn't take Mayweather and Matchroom into account.
You're right they are possibilities but I don't think Amir will want to be Mayweathers fighter and I don't know if he'll want to join the "team" that has Kell Brook and Froch as he doesn't exactly get on with them even though Eddie will probably do a very good job in raising his popularity (I know he's very well known in the UK but he isn't as popular as he used to be)
Floyd would hang himself before he ever gave Khan a 50/50 split.
i was talkin about pac
although i do agree floyd wud hang himself instead of facing khan

Floyd is aging like Bernard Hopkins; Pacquiao is aging like Roy Jones Jr.
won't happen... bradley - khan is a PPV material itself.. this is business..
if pac-may happens, we will be having the TMT stable vs wildcard gym sparring sessions..
Not in the United States it isn't. That fight would flop badly on PPV.
I dont think that'll happen. Most likely Oscar promises Khan he'll do everything to get him Mayweather (who Khan want's more than Pac) and Khan ends up re-signing with Golden Boy only for Mayweather to choose someone else. Khan is still a Haymon fighter so very much doubt Haymon would "advise" him to sign with Bob and Top Rank
