It is looking more likely that Mayweather will fight Amir Khan next... But as we know today that it's hard to beat khan by outboxing him and you must need to KO that glass chin, but still mayweather' power is unlikely to KO him. so it is very likey that Mayweather fights khan and gets beaten on points... Would you think that this likely scenario would finish the interest in May vs Pac fight afterwards ?
Please Keep aside the discussion that khan can beat mayweather or not...
I only want to discuss that how such a scenario would effect the interest in MAy vs Pac fight..
Thanks
I don't think he has ever been knocked down by a punch that hurt him. I think a knock down was scored against him when his hand was in pain and he touched it to the canvas but that had nothing to do with a punch hurting him. Film shows that his hand touched the canvas from a Judah punch but it was mainly because he was off balance and not really hurt. The ref didn't score that as a knockdown.
If it's caused by a punch, it's a knockdown. The ref made a mistake. It's called balance knockdown for a reason.
So yes, Floyd has been knocked down.

Thanksno he would be exposed as a fraud but take into account that Castillo and Madaina beat his a$$ yet he's still undefeated. Thank you corrupt boxing
On a side note i want to ask, has floyd ever been knocked down in the ring ?I don't think he has ever been knocked down by a punch that hurt him. Unofficially yes. He touched down with his glove after taking a counter right vs Judah. It was ruled a slip though.
If Khan beats Floyd and say for arguments sake also beats him in the rematch. I really don't think many people would care to watch Floyd again since his whole marketability is about that 0. He certainly won't be getting $32m guarantee per fight and his PPV numbers will drop drastically following a loss(s).
For many people the whole point of Floyd vs Manny was that many believed Pacman had the best chance of giving Floyd his first loss and once someone else takes that 0 from him Floyd vs Manny will lose a ton of interest.
No, if either guy loses in their career again, the fight would be dead.
yes, that is very likely....
the selling point of pac possibly erasing may's 0 will then be gone....
people may then likely wants to see pac vs khan....
Of course it wouldn't, is that even a question?
The JMM loss already took a lot of shine off of Floyd vs Manny. Manny's good wins since undid some of the damage but the fight wouldn't be as big now.
Floyd losing to Khan would relegate it to ordinary "big fight" status. No mega fight, no tens of million dollar purses.
