Watching the fight last night, I saw the same wild Khan lunging in that got murdered by Danny Garcia. It worked on Alexander, who is honestly shit and has little pop to go along with some T-Rex arms, but it won't ever work on Swift. It would be the same fight with Khan landing flashy combos early on but as soon as he gets reckless Danny would drop the no-look-hook aka the GARSH and it'd be the same result over again.
I'm only making this thread because many people believe that Khan has improved and that Garcia KOing him was a fluke. Back to reality people.

Man, Khan humiliates Garcia in a rematch.
Khan was staying too long in the pocket, now he doesn't. Now he would watch out for Garcia hook instead of walking into it.
Khan would stop Garcia. And it would probably look very easy.
But Khan fights good opponents, while Garcia is a bum hunter who is only around because he robs victories. Who cares about Garcia? He is irrelevant.
Well if I remember correctly KHan was putting it on Garcia. Then Garcia got the timing down. A more controlled version of Khan stands a decent chance to beating Garcia.
I like em both...but if I had to bet I would take Garcia.
I would like to see this match up at 147, I still think Swift beats Khan in a rematch. If Khan doesn't get the fight with Floyd, I would hope Al Haymon would want to make this fight, Swift wants to move up. Khan is there, if he beats Khan. I would like to see him fight Mayweather.
There is no guarantee he lands and it ends the same way, the hook wasn't the first big shot he landed in that fight, Khan absorbed the previous punches well. The KO punch was because Khan himself threw a crazy combination at that level of fighting. He jumped in with a left hook-right uppercut, when you throw an uppercut at any time it naturally lifts your head up and chin into the air, but that was particularly reckless as he was trying to do it from too far a distance. I agree with you, he will land big punches at some stage, and more than likely wobble Khan, but the argument is whether he lands something like first fight, and I'm not sure I would bet on it, why I'm sitting on the fence.
Fair enough and good points. The thing is, yes Garcia was landing some big shots already but it appeared he was still getting his timing down and was mostly working the body.
He's not getting hit with bombs because he's not fighting punchers. Put him in with Garcia, Thurman, Matthysee and Maidana and you'll see him performing his Bambi On Ice again.
Khan could be much more prepared, but at some point in time the GARSH will land, then what? See, this is the inevitable unless Khan fought a perfect fight which he won't because of his leaky defense and temperament. What Garcia has is very good timing, he'll connect on Khan eventually during an exchange and it'll be the same painful ending all over again.

Idk, i think the fight would go to later rds, Garcia seems to fade late
At 147 its a very interesting match up Khan has improved, but he will always have problems with punchers, Garcia is an accurate good timing power puncher
Just like the first fight i would favor Garcia again
Nah, Khans defense has improved he no longer gets hit with absolute bombs. This is a different fight at this stage as khan is a different fighter..Garcia looked like trash against Hererra...well and iss trash. O wait, he looked so great against rod salka!! sighghhg

Khan is better, there is no question he has improved. He was a bit more wild yesterday then the Collazo fight, but I think he felt more comfortable with Devon's power and became more aggressive, he self admittedly got off the game plan a little and showed some old bad habits, but then again there are very few fighters who are as quick as Devon. People always assume that fighters are going to turn up the same way in every fight, I never understand that, I'm sure Khan will stick to one-two's against Garcia and fight more cautiously, he has the first fight to learn from also. Hunter will put together a game plan and he will be much more prepared, I think last time he thought turning up and being himself would be enough, which was arrogant.
I think it could go either way at this moment in time.

lol you're wrong weebs, the talks is Mayweather-Pacquiao as usual. Nobody cares for Khan-Mayweather right now, although it is a solid plan B.
I'm bringing up a Khan-Garcia rematch because Danny is moving up to '47 and will sooner or later bump heads with Khan if he's still around. Also, many people think Khan has improved enough to avenge his loss to Danny.
Imo Khan will never fight Garcia again. Look at the pattern since he was stopped:
Molina - non punching LW
Diaz - non punching WW
Collazo - non punching WW
Alexander - non punching WW
Mayweather is the end-game for Khan. If he can't make that happen, he'll likely try to make a fight with Manny Pacquiao. Failing that, it will be Brook in a huge fight. If it's none of those three it will be Robert Guerrero another non-puncher at 147.
Floyd is a good counter puncher and his defense is best against orthodox fighters who come straight.
I think both guys have what it takes to hurt Khan so I would still have to give the overall better guy the edge.
Your point is solid though he is reckless in there so a patient guy who waits and has the right tools is going to get his predictable ass damn near every time. Khan suits Garcia just fine, if that match-up was better for Khan they would have looked to clear that up he never speaks on Garcia.
very much on the money.

Nah...he wont stand in middle and just throw combos, he will jab and move and make Danny come forward. Danny threw everything at Khan after the KD and he still survived for a bit. I don't see him striking out twice.
Who is even talking about Garcia-Khan? It's history, Angel Garcia turned down the rematch offer and now he's Salka-ing it after losing to Herrera.
The talk right now is about Khan-Mayweather.

Yeah, no doubt Floyd is the superior fighter to Garcia by a county mile, but Garcia is just all wrong for Khan. I'd pick both guys to defeat Khan handily, but Garcia does it in brutal fashion again while Floyd would take his time and might even let Amir see the final bell.
I think Garcia beats him again but I feel Khan might beat Floyd at this stage.
The reason is not power or his style its that Floyd is too precise. Khan's chin itself isn't that bad its his temple area, the top of his head that is real weak.
He takes and recovers from the shots that hit his chin ala Maidana, its the temple region shots like Limmond, Garcia, Prescott and so on hit him with that he never.
Garcia's wild hooks in those exchanges will catch him again, high and he won't recover well. Floyd is too selective and puts too much into trying to land everything with surgical precision.
He don't hit anyone high, round the back of the head, forehead area. Everything is on the chin. Like when he is on the ropes he will wait and wait for that right hand and won't throw it unless he knows it'll land.
Garcia don't care where it lands or even if it does. He knows one will eventually
People don't understand...
Herrera beat D.Garcia ffs
Khan totally underestimated an iron chinned solid power counterpuncher in D.Garcia. Surprising he even made it to round 4...
Khan threw a fcking rear right uppercut from range which Garcia countered with a no look hook which would knock most people out flat. Khan still managed to get up through the power of jesus allah christ and tryed to fight on...Khan would never throw such a punch today under Hunters tutelage.
He trained for a brawl with Lamont PEDerson instead he got a BETTER fighter in D.Garcia (unbeknownst to EVERYONE)
Now Khan has come on leeps and bounds with a brain transplant from Virgil.
You think it's same old story if he faces D.Garcia again?
Well you're wrong. The only repeats in that fight are lowblows.
But credit to D.Garcia he is still a very awkward opponent and does potentially have the tools to pull of a repeat. however Khan VERY EASILY could dominate him for 12 rounds straight IF he pulls off a perfect performance. all he has to do is avoid the left hook...which he can do with the positioning he has learn't from virgil.
I must re-iterate HOW IMPORTANT it is to understand the circumstances of Khan going into that D.Garcia fight and his training leading up to it.
How is danny a one hit wonder...he beat the top two dogs in his division and his record is solid..so because he had a tough fight with Herrera and took a soft touch with salka he's a one hit wonder..cmon son...
