Send him back to ShoBox, so he can get the "Next Generation" ready.
Too bad the $2 million purse Bradley got compared to Khan's $ 900 K or whatever that his fans were bragging about prior to the event didn't mean jack.
I think Bradley is a very good fighter. But I just never saw him as a 5 P4P type of guy.
The thing with me is that Bradley got a lot of push for a fight he didn't win when certain arguments come up.
When basically 95% of people think you got gifted your biggest win, it kinda of blows my mind to think it elevates you to that high of a level.
I do think he is a tough out for just about anybody at '47 still.
No way is he top 5 P4P and 147 is pretty debatable. He is a solid fighter but he is pretty undersized at 147 with little pop, and his defense is not really that great (while still throwing very wide shots).
I like him and he has really gotten the most out of his talent but the well is about dry for him.
flowmoes make me chuckle.
Thurman who found Bundu difficult is going to win against Bradley? GTFOH!
Khan is fast and so is Bradley. I give Tim the edge in power. He probably KTFO Khan with a looping right.
And this I honestly believe -- Floyd-Bradley is a 50/50 fight. How difficult was the Maidana fight for Floyd? Maidana slow as molasses able to catch Floyd how much more Bradley? People are going to be shocked how easy it is for Bradley to box and hit Floyd.
no you can't justify toney and Roy because their glory days are far behind them. When I mean wins I mean recent mainly. And talent is taken into consideration as well but I put more weight on the wins because you need to keep proving you are a top fighter (can't get by on looks alone).
You can justify Bradley above rigo p4p because all rigo has is donaire and he hasn't been in much meaningful fights since. Plus Marquez was ranked higher, is considered a legend, still very dangerous strong counter puncher, future hof'er when Bradley beat him. But if rigo goes and beats frampton and Santa Cruz next then he most definitely deserves to be higher. We can say rigo beats frampton and santa but this is boxing and anything can happen.
Anyways that's just how I see it. Everyone ranks different.
Bradleys last 5 fights.
Pac - Gift decision - Boxing is dead was trending on twitter.
Provodnikov - Fortunate decision in close fight against 140 pounder
Marquez - Best win of his career against a great fighter who has no business at 147 unless he's fighting Pacquiao.
Pac II - Clear loss where he faded down the stretch and looked amateurish at times.
Chaves - Struggled at times against a guy who's claim to fame is getting knocked out by Keith Thurman and not being able to beat Rios.
Bradley could easily be 1-4 if the decisions went the other way.
My opinion he's not elite just very tough and fortunate.
Your opinion he's a top talent who belongs amongst the best.
Agree to disagree.
wins matter the most imo. or else you could justify broner having been put at top ten p4p before he got exposed by limited maidana.
again many experts rank rigo top 5 based on his ONE win against donaire. not only did bradley beat a higher ranked p4p fighter and legend coming off a HUGE win, but he also has a ton of other great wins.
as far as i'm concerned bradley has proven himself a top welterweight and top p4p'er (only loss to pacquiao). there is no way you can justify khan and thurman being ranked higher.
It's a combination of accomplishment and talent but it's mostly head to head comparisons. It's not about resume because if it was Roy Jones would still be ranked since he's active and so would Toney.
Ring magazine has Rigo #8 and Bradley #5...In what world is that possible? Does anyone really give Bradley a shot at beating Rigo if they were both the same size? Does Bradley stand a shot against Choc Gonzalez? A 3 division champ with some very good wins under his belt?
Like I said Bradley shouldn't be there, I can't think of another fighter getting so much praise by so many people because he's tough and rugged. I don't see an elite fighter but lets see him fight Khan or Thurman so he can make me look dumb.
well imo he justifies his top 5 p4p spot with his win against marquez (ranked #3 p4p and #2 welterweight) alone. rigondeaux got into the top 5 p4p for just beating donaire who himself was ranked top 5 p4p at the time.
and his resume at welterweight is still far better than khan and thurman.
provo >>>>> past prime collazo
marquez >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> devon alexander
P4P is about mythical matchups between guys across all weight classes, sure important wins matter but that's basically why the debate was established.
If you are honest with yourself you can come up with more then 10 guys across all weight classes who would beat Bradley pretty soundly, it's not that hard. There are 5 guys already in his weight class who would beat him soundly.
#3 at welterweight. He looked better against Chaves than Thurman. I think he would win against both Thurman and Khan, skillwise and physically he is on another level than any of the guys both have fought to this point.
There is a reason why Bradley ducked Khan. Khan would destroy bradley, too long, too fast and Bradleys powder puff punches aint going to do anything. He has no chance. He is definately not p4p material nor top 5 WW. Floyd, Pac, Marquez, Khan, Brook all above him.
nope it was mostly head butt.
and bradley clearly beat chaves (outboxing him way better than thurman did).
i don't understand how you can even have thurman or khan above bradley.
bradley beat marquez who was ranked #2 at welterweight and #3 p4p at the time. what did khan and thurman do at welterweight or their entire career that was much better than this??
you think khan beating devon (ranked #10 and a bradley left over) puts him at #4 above bradley? hahahahahahahaaha and who has thurman beat to justify #3???
I've always thought Khan would beat Bradley.
Can't hold on to that Marquez win forever, he's been very fortunate to get a lot of decisions.
The main point is that Bradley being top 5 P4P is a bad joke, sure he's ranked higher then Khan and Thurman but I think he losses to both. I would love for him to prove me wrong though, I don't think that's happening anytime soon since he will probably rematch Chaves or fight Rios/Alvarado winner. Maybe they give him Jesse Vargas or some other garbage fight.
I missed the first round.
In the second round they headbutted a lot and even had time called.
Swelling? It started after the second round and Chaves also had a small cut.
Bradley was landing a big windmill right hands early.
Bradley being top 5 P4P is a joke but P4P is a joke anyways but this takes the cake.
Yea you watched the fight my bad
Thought this was another troll thread
But you're on point for sure
Bradley may not be great but I still think he is
He slowed down towards the end which surprised me
But there is zero doubt that he clearly won the fight
What round did Bradley get his eye swollen?
Which half did Chaves do best in?
Which punch was Bradley catching him early with?

No he isn't. Bordering top 5 welterweight head-to-head, doesn't belong on any P4P discussion.
Hes a tough little fighter who does most things reasonable but nothing great.
Khan, Brook, Floyd, Pacquaio, Thurman all beat his ass. Porter has a good shot too.
So how did
He win 4 rounds against pacquaio in the rematch?

bradley did a better job of outboxing chaves than thurman did.
and khan gets ranked higher for beating a bradley left over? hahahahahahaha. bradley's two wins against marquez and provo are still far better than khan's wins against collazo and devon.
devon is ranked #10 at welterweight right now hahahahaha.
Bradley did such a great job his face looked to be growing 3 extra heads.
And don't come back with headbutts because his jaw looked broken too.
I still have those guys beating him and no way is Bradley anywhere near top 5 P4P.
