Listening to Floyd bring up the past negotiations and everything else. Saying that he tried to make the fight and bob was ducking and all this other stuff could it be possible that this was the plan all along.
From 2009 to Now there is only two fighters that have had every single one of their fights on PPV. They are Both considered atg both have fought A and B level fighters since 09. Manny being the more active fighter risking more and Getting screwed by the judges and getting knocked out after 4 damn fights by Marquez. Floyd not taking too many risks and picking good but not great fighters.
Could it be possible that they have milked us since 2009 made money and individually did their own thing only to see the end of both of their careers and go for one or two big pay days.
I think the boxing public is finally catching on based on both their PPV numbers slipping. No one wants to see Mayweather fight another fighter like Maidana and no one in hell wants to see Pacquiao fight another fighter like Algieri.
Don't think it was intentional trolling, but both sides knew how much the 'rivalry' was raising their profile. They milked it for all it was worth, and never really had enough of an incentive to actually make the fight happen. They could make plenty of money elsewhere and so they did.
Agreed.
After the first negotiations fell through, I don't believe either wanted the fight.
Using each other's names in the media to make crazy money off lesser opposition without having to fight each other and thus (the loser) hurting their earning potential.
Yep............
I've been saying it, both Floyd/Pac and their teams are milking people like crazy.

Possibly. Remember Floyd taking that picture with Arum at the Super Bowl years ago?

And that was when Floyd and Arum really "hated" each other.
But whatever.

Mayweather doesnt even have the IQ to be a troll.
like Pacquiao does? Both guys are very dumb but have highly intelligent people working for them (Arum and Haymon)
Could be. Yes both guys would have made a boat load of money for fighting each other 5 years ago (and for a potential rematch as well) but the loser would lose a lot of drawing power and for the winner he could never fight another opponent of the same caliber and lose drawing power as well. Both guys haven't hesitated to use the other's name to promote their own fights and been effective
