An exciting fighters most boring fight

that wasnt as bad as the agieri and mosely fights...rios at least tried to make it more of a fight. How? By blocking punches with his face? I'd rather watch John Ruiz shadow box.

Rios vs abril

pac/mosely Mosely/Mora Mosley had back to back boring fights, but the funny thing is when he fought Mora it was Mora who made the fight boring, and when he fought Pac it was Mosley who made it boring running and touching gloves in fear. Mosley was scared sh1tless of Pac, he even wanted to jump out of the ring claiming his feet hurt (he got bloody blisters from moonwalking so fast non stop) but Nazim had to tell him to continue.

Any Mike Tyson fight that went the distance, Mike was pretty boring if he couldn't take you out early, he was a spurt fighter who lost interest as the fight went on, he lacked the heart and will to overcome adversity in the ring and would give up if he couldn't intimidate you early. I have never seen Tyson with heart in the later rounds, Evander Holyfield is a guy with a large heart and bravery to win, Tyson would basically quit and just go through the motions if the fight went past 5. Watch the Tyson versus Tucker fight man that was boring lots of grappling and it was sloppy. same with his fight with Mitch Green, lots of grabbing and not much ferocity from Tyson, he would allow the clinching and initiate it. Tucker was running and moving all night and Tyson couldn't cut off the ring he was just following him down and stalk him, while getting held in a clinch. Lol!!!! Watch Tyson vs Ruddock 2 and tell me 1 HW today who takes that punishment and just walks through it !? breaking dwn a guy with all the so called advantages.12 round action brawl,looks fresh at the end and at a time when ppl say he was already on the decline.?! the most boring fight of cotto's(that i've seen) was probabley cotto-trout, which wasn't that boring i think cotto might have the most exciting career today i dont find any pacquiao fight particularily boring, but that algieri one was bad, i thought worse than mosley, which i agree was lackluster, but atleast it was somewhat interesting, watched it a couple of times, algieri fight, never again in it's entirety

I was going to pick Pac/MAB2 and Pac/Mosley but you guys beat me to it. I'll go with Carl Froch v Andre Dirrell...then again that Oscar winning actor can make anything and anyone look boring.

I won't go as far as naming a great retired fighter, but in recent times I could name a few. But, one that truly stands out was a card that I attended. Hopkins vs Cloud at the barclays center. The main event wasn't the disappointment. The undercard was Keith Thurman vs Jan Zaveck at 154 lbs. I was very excited about Thurman and Zaveck had just loss his welterweight strap to Berto. It was a good boxing bout with plenty to offer from a purists stand, but I was expecting something else. Still, I was very impressed by Thurman in what I feel was his best win to date.
