ANTHONY JOSHUA wants to bring some excitement back into the heavyweight scene after describing the world title eliminator between British rivals Dereck Chisora and Tyson Fury last Saturday as "crap" and "boring."
Joshua was in the audience at the ExCeL Arena and did not enjoy what he saw - despite Fury's 10th-round win - and believes he could beat either man right now.

Joshua shouldn't have won gold in the first place. He got a home town decision in the very first match. Even the fights after that were questionable. Fury is the same age as him, he didn't make it to the Olympics because he was up against a seasoned veteran in the amateurs in David Price. Who did Joshua have to contend with? Joseph Joyce :lol1:
2FAST outboxes & stops Joshua.

This. Dominates him. I would love for that fight to happen but I want Fury to face Wlad.
Joshua is a gold medalist in less than 40 fights. He doesn't have an extensive amatuer career but the man has many skills and alot of athleticism. I have no doubt by the end of 2015 he will have some big fights coming his way and I'll be watching destroy the competitionOH MY GOD, another complete knob jockey with his shopping list.
i agree, he would mash either man. im surprised chisora never won to be honest but, i believe although he would give david haye a decent scrap he would get kod. with knockdowns either way in the process, thats a good scrap.
this fury pikey is just a blubbery mess.

I think at this point in his career Joashua loses. I do think he has the potential to win though, at another stage of his career. Fury looks awkward but is underrated, either chisora is/was extremely shot, or fury has improved his boxing ability dramatically.
This is a laughable debate. Fury said that Joshua beat the shyt out of him in sparring when Joshua was a KID. Rofl.
When Joshua was a kid?
You do know that Fury and Joshua are the same age, yeah?

Also LOL@ the people bringing up Savon. Put Savon in with Joshua right now in a 10 rounder. Joshua KO him.
It's especially ironic the person bringing that up is a Tyson fan since Tyson himself was beaten like a ragdoll in the Amateurs and he knocked out that same person in the Pros.
I hear he's specifically going to Cuba to spar with Erislandy Savon... He has the physique sorted so some technical work may be in order! I think we'll have a much better idea how he'll handle Fury once he goes at it with Johnson... Easier to compare that way. I think Fury showed Johnson waaaay too much respect because of what happened to Pricey with 'The Hipbuster' Thompson. I hope Joshua goes at him non-stop til something gives - either Johnson's resolve or Joshua's stamina! :boxing:
Hopefully he doesn't run into Savon while in Cuba. Although, it would be nice watching him get schooled again.
Savon looked absolutely class in the Olympics, thought he beat Joshua.
Would love to see him turn pro.
What makes you say Joshua has a glass jaw? Is it the fact that he ate super heavyweight right hands throughout the whole of the olympics and didn't even flinch? I think we all know how'd have the weaker chin in that fight and it sure as **** ain't Anthony
Joshua has been badly rocked several times in the amateurs. As for his Olympic performance, his gold medal was won via robbery. He was clearly schooled by both Savon & Cammarelle. As a poster mentioned above as well, he was KTFO by David Price in sparring.
Fury has never been hurt or knocked out in the amateur or professional ranks. Yes, he's been dropped via flash knockdowns, but not hurt.

So what your saying is Joshua would Ko Fury? Seriously man, what gives you that impression?
Of course he isn't. Even though Hearn is talking complete ****, I'd love him to make the fight early next year and listen to all the casuals crying because Fury knocked out their boy.
Joshua has a glass jaw, and will go down like a sack of spuds when anyone lands on it. Trust.

I'd favour Joshua, be it next week or next year.
He's a far better athlete, faster, hits harder and I believe he's more skilled. I'm not sold on Fury at all though, AJ looks like he'll be legit.
Agreed.
He's no where near ready.

I don't think AJ has a glass jaw. He took Cammarelle's best punches as an amateur without going down. I know that was with headguards, but still, Cammarelle can bang.
I believe the rumours of him getting sparked by Price in sparring are true. But Price's right hand is one of the hardest punches in boxing, so getting decked by Price doesn't spell "glass jaw" to me.
I agree with you though, that AJ is not ready for Fury yet.
IMO, the only reason AJ and Hearn have started sounding off about Fury since he beat Chisora is because they know that Tyson isn't in any position to call their bluff. He is mandatory for Wlad now and getting Wlad into the ring with him is going to be the only thing on Fury's mind next summer.
tyson fury needs to clean the filth crap and garbage out of the heavyweight division starting with joshua moving on to wilder and finishing up with clutchko
