Bernard sounds fine. His defensive style and giving up the gym wars in his later career have preserved him pretty well for such a brutal sport. Compare him to his contemporaries like Jones & G.Johnson and he seems to clearly be doing better than them. Don't even need to mention Toney. Only scare he's really had was after the Jones rematch when he passed out. Jones was rabbit punching alot that night.

You'd be better off making a list of boxers who DON'T have some degree of brain damage It's like asking if a boxer has ever injured their hands. You make a living hitting your hands on each others brains they're both going to accumulate damage. This. And even if Bernard or anyone else hasn't taken a lot of punishment in his career, hes been punched in the head thousands and thousands of times when you take sparring into consideration.

He sounds like Bernard Hopkins to me...and he made some valid points. Hopkins has taken very little punishment in his entire career...he's just a bit defensive and excited in that video because he's coming off a lose.

I didn't bother watching the video, Hops has always sounded crazy.
