People say Oscar was drained against Manny... I see a master class

It's gospel that Oscar was supposedly a drained zombie (maybe he was), but people often overlook the fact that Oscar was the A side, there was no catch-weight, Manny was moving up in weight etc.. Manny moved up TWO WEIGHT CLASSES for this fight! This win has been badly discredited but it's one hell of a win! I think people were literally dumbfounded at how badly Manny dominated and schooled De La Hoya, it was a combination of Floyd hardcore fans, Oscar fans, just a general disbelief at how dominant that win was. I know it hurts a lot of butts but Manny schooled Oscar, he took away his jab completley, his footwork was A+, handspeed phenomenal, footspeed and lateral movement everything was unbelievable. This fight also disproves the Fl0mo boxing hipster theory that Manny has poor boxing skills and poor fundamentals, but they would just reply ''drained zombie doe, derp derp'' but if you watch the fight the skill Manny shows is ATG level, blinder jab, straight left circle round, right hand, even his defence was on point. Prime Manny beats any version of Oscar sorry.

Oscar hadnt fought at 147 in like 8 years and hes the kind of guy that always blew up and got fat between fights. He really underestimated how hard it would be to make 147. He also didnt realize manny going from 135 to 147 would basically be weighing the same he always did, without having to drain at all. So you got a super fresh guy who can eat steak and potatoes the day of the weigh in versus a guy who had to have saline solution injected into his veins because his electrolytes were ****ed from severe dehydration. Manny steward caught that one.

As bad as Oscar looked (he was drained), there is just not many left hand heavy fighters who could have beaten that version of Pac. The left hook against Pac is basically an afterthought. You take that away from Oscar and he is pretty average.

They Rehydrated Oscar through IV's before the fight thinking that it was the best course to take. Oscar to Me and a lot of fighters looked good at the weigh in he looked strong during his training camp. But come fight night going against that speed and power made him look old and dead. Hell Brandon Rios looked exactly the same in his fight with Manny.

Oscar was not in his prime, he would of done great against a slower opponent. Manny was just too fast. He should have never stopped the fight tho. That probably messed with his head.

people forget ODLH' intention on fighting at the WW.. he want's the PBF rematch.. True .... Oscar had already begun to make his move in his previous fight when he came in within the 150 weigh in. So for him, what's another 3lbs compared to what Manny needed to do. also, Oscar knew that he was facing a fast opponent in Manny and wanted some of that too so his logic/plan was to come in light. He was coming in weight ahead of schedule. He even tried to spar against southpaws and those with good speed. It backfired because that would always be Manny's advantage. Oscar should have tried to keep his advantages such as size. Bad miscalculation on his team's part. It happens.

True so did steve forbes weight drain ODH too??? Nobody is saying Pacquiao weight drained Oscar. That still doesn't mean Oscar wasn't weight drained. Manny had no real star power at that time to dictate anything, Oscar chose to fight at welterweight. And was weight drained in the process people forget ODLH' intention on fighting at the WW.. he want's the PBF rematch..
