Seems they were leaving it late considering how close we are to the end of the year
As much as I hate on Rigo for being boring as hell and putting himself into the promotional pit he's in, I'm glad to see he finally got a fight. Sucks to have a guy as good as him shelved for so long.

I am just happy and thankful that he even got another fight this year . . . because for the longest time his management was looking like :pat:
Now they can build a fanbase in Japan where there are plenty of bantamweights for him to face so while the Western boxing champions play games he can stay relatively busy in the foreseeable future.
Has anyone seen this Amagasa guy fight?
A boxrec check shows that he's freakishly tall for the division and has a possibly deceptive record (three of his four losses and his two draws came early in his career). He's 1-1 with his only notable opponent (a former titlist) and undefeated since 2010.
But there's only so much to glean from records, so again, has anyone seen him in action?
Some footage of him on the Asianboxing video section. His KO of Nagata looks awesome the rest however is ugly, wild, looping stuff that Rigondeaux will punish big time.

How the fk is Rigondeaux gna hit this guy in the face is my question. To be honest it may go even worse for the poor Japanese dude Rigo working the body is a nightmare easy money.
