Khan against a rival like Froch-Groves would sell out Wembley.
Khan against a known name to the UK public like Kessler would sell out the MEN or O2.
Well 'would' is a big difference from 'did'.
Froch has actually done it and Khan hasn't.
Although I'm sure Khan-Brook could sell out Wembley with the right card and build up.
I just got back from Kashmir and I can assure you Khan is huge in Asia mainly South Asia (subcontinent) I visited local villages in and around Pakistan/Kashmir and when talking about boxing they all knew who Khan was. Lets be real Khan is by far the 3rd most popular boxer in the world and one of the most known fighter.
India the second largest populated country knows who Khan is, if they didn't one of the most recognized actor in Bollywood wouldn't be asking Khan to get in to the movies(Bollywood). People in the middle east know who Khan is.
Regarding race I believe this is not the only reason Khan is disliked by many in the UK, Look at Moeen Ali the cricketer he is adored by the The English fans and is known to be very humble gentleman.
I come from a similar background and can tell you not once have I received any form of racism. I'm a huge fan of Khan but the guy chats sh1t and comes across like a douche, to deny that it is pathetic.
Floyd has much more money than Manny - who is more popular?
Worldwide or in America? Because if we're using worldwide, no one outside the UK really knows who Froch is. Khan is more known worldwide than Froch and it isn't even close.
Khan is also more well known in the UK, whether you think he's "popular" or liked. Popularity is a subjective thing. Froch got booed out of the building at the darts in his home town of Nottingham - does that mean he's unpopular?
The bottom line is that people will watch guys like Mayweather and Khan even if you don't like them. We all know your ass is sitting at the screen looking like this every time Amir fights....

He did against Barrera who was clearly over the hill in MEN. He also had 16,000 for Paul McCloskey. I can only imagine what if he had brought over Judah, who doesn't have star power and Khan could've easily brought him over or someone else like Peterson.
Anyhow, hopefully Brook fight happens and then we'll see.
Take Khan's last 3 fights in the UK then.
Froch clearly has more momentum with the fans at the moment in britain, even though Khan might be lesser known.

Over the last 3 fights, 2 of which Khan has fought in the USA tells you who is more popular in the UK?
:dunce:

Regardless of each fighters wealth, Froch would (over the last 3 fights) clearly be deemed more popular in the UK.

Your letting yourself down here fella.
But like I said the numbers don't lie.
Khan could not sell out in Sheffield.
Letting myself down? By pointing out you're a biased idiot posting skewed statistics to try and further your agenda.
Sheffield is not Khan's hometown and he was fighting Julio Diaz.
That would be the equivalent of Froch fighting Yusaf Mack in Sheffield.
Still he ducked Khan to land a shot at Pacquiao, he lost to Pac 2x and had close wins over a old Marquez and Provo.
Bet it didn't bother you at all when he ducked Khan 2X?
I'm no Bradley fan, but the Marquez win is a very, very good one. That 'old' Marquez had just KO'd Manny.
Still, I thought he lost both Pac fights and the Provodnikov fight so...
Well, if you mention Bradley...
He has never been stopped.
He last 4 opponents were;
Pacquaio
JMM
Prov
Pacquiao
All of which would indicate that he is fighting on a higher level than King Khan.
You're mentioning about opponents, well he's willing to fight Pac and Mayweather, why you have problem with him fighting elite opposition then?

Not to mention he tried to make fights with Bradley and Marquez at 140 but both didn't want to fight him that time. Bradley ducked him like a little b**** and didn't get half the stick that khan gets now a days.

Barerra,Kotelnik,Paulie,Maidana,Judah,Peterson,Garcia,Diaz,Collazo and now Alexander guy has fought nothing but tough opposition throughout his career, still gets hate from racists and pricks like Alexguiness. Yes he had 1 or 2 soft touches after KO loss lately, but his resume suggests that guy can fight and has balls to fight anyone anywhere, even if its in his opponent's backyard while being the champion, nuff said.
It really baffles me sometimes to see how loyal his haters are.
What will you going to say when Khan whoops Devon you mug??
Devon over the hill doe.
Didn't come to fight doe.
Porter loss was still on his mind doe.
Khan was too dominant, so it doesn't count doe.
What will you going to say when Khan whoops Devon you mug??
I'll say what I have said since the fight was made.
Khan should beat Alexander.
If Khan gets another beating, what will YOU say?
I was just using each fighter's last 3 fights as I believe this is the fairest indication of a fighters current popularity.
The reason Khan turned pro at 18 was for money yes, his family placed huge pressure on him to do so.
Regardless of each fighters wealth, Froch would (over the last 3 fights) clearly be deemed more popular in the UK.
For Khan's last 3 fights he has had one fight in the UK at a relatively small venue, one fight in LA at a relatively small venue and one fight at the MGM Vegas on Floyd's undercard.
Floyd has much more money than Manny - who is more popular?
Olympic medalists turn pro almost within a year building on that momentum. Degale, Campbell, Joshua etc. If Froch had won a medal at Olympics he too would've cashed out asap.
That is a great comparison and a very fair one.
I was responding to the he couldn't even sell out Sheffield point. Cuz what I interpreted was that Khan can't sell out anything, hence the numbers and articles I posted to prove otherwise.
I've already stated the reason why Khan is not popular in UK anymore as he has chosen to establish himself in U.S., but if he was fighting here and bringing these names across the pond he'd do just as well as shown by the precedent he has set. Khan is easily more known in U.S., which is safe to say is a bigger deal as that is where all the big fights happen. I mean after all Froch does want to fight in Vegas don't he?
As for the Manny/Floyd point, I think both are equally popular, because their popularity (or notoriety) has grown off of each other. Manny-Floyd is like a compound word.
10 Years ago I used to score with 7/8's regularly, sometimes even a 9.
10 Years later I have to settle for 6/7's, that's life.
You see how it works?
We all had better, more successful days - just like Khan did in 2010/11.
Since then Khan has struggled badly against lesser opposition.
Surely you can't argue with that?
What will you going to say when Khan whoops Devon you mug??
