Basically, Zou Shiming brings in an average of 350 million television viewers when he fights on Chinese TV. Arum's plan is for Zou Shiming to fight for his first world title on Pacquiao vs Mayweather undercard, and then charge a special China only price of $5 per PPV.
Based on those numbers, we're looking at 1.75 Billion in potential sales.
Then you add the rest of the PPVs around the world at whatever price they pay, and the numbers are staggering.
Hopefully this convinces Floyd that maybe it's not so bad an idea to demand Pacquiao abandon Bob Arum to make the fight happen.
Kinda funny for a guy that calls himself "Money" didn't take the richest fight in history with Pac when it mattered. Even to this day he still doesn't take it. He should change his nickname.
It was Top Rank that walked away from negotiations not the money team.
Just say the fight is a success in China, The best way to divide the Chinese PPV Portion of profits would be 75% for Arum, PAC and Shiming, 24% for HBO and Showtime, and the remaining 1% for Mayweather just because he might cry racism on the "cat eaters"
If they want Floyd so bad all they need to do is meet Floyd's number.

-$5 a pop equals roughly 35 chinese yuan per PPV.
-from a cost perspective, that amount is about half of what would be spent on a week's groceries.
-beyond that, said Chinese family would be paying that amount to watch a show that would only start by 1am on Sunday morning, with only one fight that they would have any actual interest in, maybe.
-China, as a boxing market, only even opened up to pro boxing within the last five years, after having the sport dormant for 40 years in the country.
You honestly expect the general Chinese home to give up half a week's worth of groceries, to watch a PPV super-early Sunday morning, with only one fight on it that they would have any interest in? to the tune of a quarter of all people (let alone not acknowledge that 350 million viewers likely actually means 100 million homes) doing so? lol
