They need to bring more Japanese fighters to the U.K for these cards.
They are tough as old boots and come to fight everytime, I can't recall ever seeing a Japanese fighter that didn't come in, in great shape.
Its like they all have unlimited stamina lol
Not the most skillful fighters but they can scrap. How tough was that Otake kid though taking those shots from Quigg who can bang like they was nothing? That guy was made of steel.
Would be bad ass though a card filled with Japanese fighters vs U.K fighters or even bring more over instead of these guys who can't even be ar5ed getting in shape for the biggest fight of their lives. You're charging Christ knows what for a PPV full of mismatches, as if that ain't bad enough half of them can't even be bothered getting in shape!
You probably don't want Groves in with a Japanese light middleweight though, they wouldn't be fading after 5 they would only just be getting started.
I seriously need to watch more Japanese boxing and these guys give you your moneys worth and more besides everytime. If they did something like that I'd pay the PPV because I know it would be money well spent.
Because U.K cards suck for most, this is the entertainment business if people are paying their hard earned money they want to be entertained.
I doubt a single person didn't feel ripped off paying for last nights PPV.
That kid Groves fought did good before gassing in four rounds, not even at a high pace.
Periban seemingly didn't even bother training for the fight - Hes already had umpteen big fights he never deserved.
Why not pay for fighters to come over who are going to be in shape at least and come to fight and entertain? Someone who at a minimum can give these prospects and world title challengers a hard 12 rounds?
Its always Nicaraguan journeymen and non durable trash that don't even attempt to make a go of it. If you're trying to steer a guy to world level have them fight solid, honest pros who can give them rounds they so badly need.
I guarantee Quigg learned a lot last night he was made to work, made to adjust and work every second of every round and it showed him not everyone is going to wilt under your pressure. It was lop-sided but it was entertaining.
If you're paying £17 & on top of Boxnation and so on, you want to see fighters come to win, be competitive. Not a load of gross mismatches where you are predicting first round blowouts and such.
Why the UK? We don't have many good fighters to be honest
Japan vs Mexico, now that would be something.
...and even perhaps a conflict of interest for a particular Mexicanito
Is that a serious question?
:rofl::rofl:

Miura might fight one of the smith's if he can't get Uchiyama.
hey don't be cruel, that is a bloodbath.

Japan has plenty of skilled fighters. The ones that show up in Britain tend to be the lower quality ones that are nevertheless hard as nails. I mean as I understand it Otake has little pedigree in Japan.

Not the most skillful fighters you say? #TeamYaegashi disagrees with you.

They need to send some quality fighters there
Bit of a brutal mismatch if he fought Stephen Smith but that would be fireworks for as long as it lasted.
Could put that on the Abril vs Crolla bill both Hearn fighters I think (Crolla and Smith) In fact they'll need fights like that because the card stinks thus far
The code of the samurai, Bushido, lives on in their fighters. Honor until death.
Some of the toughest SOBs I've seen. The fight between Omar Figueroa and Nihito Arakawa was brutal.
