I respect Pacquiao and as long as he fights well it doesn't matter to me if he wins by a one punch 2nd round KO or a 10th round tko beat down. If he wins a close fight then I would think he is not the fighter he used to be. If he loses or wins a close fight he should retire in my opinion. I think he should be a 20 to 1 favorite to win instead of only a 7 to 1 favorite. I think Pacquiao is almost as good as he ever was and I expect him to KO Algieri in six rounds or less and dominate the fight from start to finish. Algieri is about as good a fighter as Rios. He is faster and a better boxer than Rios of course but he lacks Rios's iron jaw and dangerous power. This fight will be just as easy for Pacquiao as the Rios fight was but he will end this fight early.

Is Algeri really that chinny? Pac hasnt shown power in years. This is all about styles, and i think Algeri could win if he moves and throws smart punches all night.

Algeri's whole game plan is to box. I see this going the full 12.

I would only lose respect for Pac if he clinches all night and in between lands a jab or two each round.

...wins in more than 6 rounds but brutalizes Chris ala Dela Hoya or Margarito? Or stops him in the later rounds like Diaz and Cotto? Personally, I want it to end like the Hatton fight (in less than 6). More than that he'd better be hanging them gloves already! But than Floyd really wouldn't want to fight him. (Sarcasm )
