fighting chaves is a ok fight but to slingshot Bradley back to the top of the food chain he should,ve fought ruslan and showed everyone that he had a bad day against prov in their first fight and algeri can,t be on the same level as him... or that Bradley feels that he got a gift decision in the first fight and not to make waves... what do you guy,s and gals think if the rematch was to happen... Bradley wins the rematch or gets knocked out by prov???
What's the point? Do you think Bradley will trade in the rematch? Ruslan will win zero round in the rematch. Fans should have realized by now that clinching and running have become perennial defense tactics employed by fighters nowadays. Bradley beat veteran Marquez didn't he? So what do you think Ruslan would do anything different?
If you're a real fan you'd be interested in Algieri vs Bradley. It would be a chess match.
imo Bradley is still too fast for Algieri and would beat him in his own game. Bradley's jab is underrated and its lightning quick. With his hit-first-pivot/shoulder roll- out style (like he did against JMM) Algieri would have haaard problems finding the target trying to counter him.
Then when Algieri wants to exchange, Bradley goes squirrel mode like he always does, then back to pop and pivot. clear UD.
Do you really want to go down this road Larry? The guy is arguably 26-0.
He's a Russian fighting Americans in the States who has "lost" three controversial decisions where his opponent has come off visibly physically worse each time.
I don't know why you're putting quotation marks around the word "lost." Ruslan did lose those fights and he acknowledged losing to Bradley. And don't pretend that Ruslan came out of the Bradley fight unmarked. He's extremely overrated.
On Bradley vs Ruslan rematch...

it would be a good fight that I'd pay to see but imo once Bradley fought smart he'd win much more clearly than last time. he's just a better technical boxer than provo who's really entertaining but can only fight one way.
In today's day and age winning a title doesn't necessarily mean you beat anyone note-worthy. Damn net everyone is a champion of some sort.

So Ruslan has won titles in 3 divisions?

I would like to see a rematch between these two, Bradley got the fights he wanted out of the way like a second fight with Pac & a fight with Marquez. I think it's time to make this rematch or at least fight a GBP fighter once he beats Chavez by decision.

Larry we both know winning titles, for the most part, means dick all. Ruslans loss to bradley is better than any win broner has because Bradley's twice the fighter of any one broner has beat. So a close lose is better than beating Escobedo or ponce for a **** title.
"My question is why did a 147 title holder ever fight Ruslan who had 0 147 fights in the 1st place..A win over Jose Reynoso at 140 got him a title shot at 147??"
You are not speaking logically, obviously this was a very evenly matched fight that Bradley thought he could..WIN EASILY. Bradley is the one who accepted the fight and it didn't pan out the way he would have liked. Belts are OVERRATED IN boxing and you should know this by now.
I think what you really want to say is that "Bradley really should have thought twice about accepting this fight, because he ended up getting his ass beat"
He gassed a little but that's because he went for broke in the first two. Did pretty damn well for the rest of the fight considering how much he threw at the guy early. As a fan, of course I want to see Bradley fight Ruslan again and I think if he fights the way he did against marquez he prob takes it running away but he knows there is a big risky "if" there...if you consider the physical damage that bradley took in that fight I'm sure he's in no rush to try his luck at it again. He's already made some good money and fight can happen anytime and sell, they are keeping it in the back pocket...Bradley won the boxing match Prov won the fight. All of Prov's loses are razor thin, he can be outboxed but he's no walk in anybodies park...
ruslan is not that hyped. He is likable because he comes to Brawl and doesn;t avoid potential opponents. He also gave Brandley a proper LICKIN, and was robbed.
Robbed??? how did you score the fight?
Was it a good fight or not? All I hear from you guys is, "he came up from 140." So ****ing what, everyone moves up. You act like he jumped five divisions. The guys not the greatest but he's always competitive and has lost close decisions. He's done as well as broner has, minus getting owned by maidana, yet people on here act like broner deseves big fights, so why not ruslan?

I think Bradley would avoid going punch for punch with Ruslan as much as he could. he would use his speed, experience and boxing ability to win a clear ud but Ruslan would keep the fight fairly close. Bradley is a better fighter than Ruslan and one of the best fighters in the world but he should fight much more often. He is wasting his late prime fighting only once every 8 or 9 months when he should fight 3 or 4 times a year and stay at his sharpest.

I personally think that Bradley is about as good as or just as good as rush an but he dam sho ain't special.... rush an basically showed Bradley that he could beat him 9 out of 10 times if they were to fight. And that's why it's important for these guys to fight again to prove who is the better of the two. Just my O...
