Its funny how some posters say that Tyson ducked Foreman. I'm not even sure these same posters realize that when Tyson was in his prime in mid-80's, Foreman was JUST coming back after a 10yr layoff. His last fight before returning in 1987 was in March of 1977. These same people accusing Tyson of ducking Foreman, would have accused Tyson of beating on an old, 10yr inactive fighter.

What really happened? Didn't Mike give LL the opportunity to beat him, when Mike was clearly past his best, and let LL have such a great name on his CV? Unlike Floyd, who only fights fighters when he thinks they are past their best like DLH, SSM, Miguel Cotto, etc etc. Floyd wont let fighters the opportunity to beat him when he is clearly past his sell by date. So don't knock Tyson there. Yes, its not as if Floyd is going to give fighters the opportunity to beat him, after Floyd is past his best. He is going to retire long before. But FLoyd likes dining on fighters past their sell by date. Floyd try to give ODH, SHane and Manny the chance to beat him when they were prime, they all turned down that opportunity. In the case of ODH and Shane, Floyd wasn't in position to "offer" them fights as he was not the earner/money generator he is now. Funny-you would blame Floyd for not fighting GGG because Floyd is the bigger earner. You always claim Manny and ODH are/were bigger stars than Floyd. Yet you blame Floyd when they refuse a fight.
