How come Maidana,Ortiz,Guerrero etc. deserved Floyd but Khan doesn't???

3 of those guys won fight of the year candidates that lead to a Floyd fight. Khan eked out a snoozer against Callazo.

Khan doesn't deserve a shot at Floyd Because. He won't stand stationary in front of him and will actually throw punches, won't let him dance around the ring and hey! cause he isn't a slow Mexican plodder. The point here is. There is no criteria for fighting Floyd, all you need to do is beat up some Hype Job in a Slug fest to secure your shot. I'm ready to bet that Floyd will never fight Khan or Manny, because these guys are not flat footed Plodders and presents different threat to Mayweather. and don't tell me Mayweather wanted to fight Khan blah blah, No he didn't. Why do you think he made a Poll b/w Khan and Maidana, promoted it all over his social media, Khan won by an over-whelming majority yet fight the loser of the Poll?? He probably thought once about fighting Khan that point cause Khan didn't look impressive against Diaz, but now Khan is looking impressive and if beats Devon in impressive fashion he can kiss anyhope of securing a Floyd fight goodbye. Joe Calzaghe deserves Chavez Jr over anyone else. Look at his resume, Hopkins, Kessler, Jones, Bika, Eubank, etc. He deserves Chavez Jr! Yeah, no. See where i'm going with my sarcasm? that 50 year old Collazo is almost the same age as Maidana. :bottle: But he is nowhere near Maidana's level..There is only two good fighters on that list and that is Maidana(who arguable ko Khan) and Kotelnik.. OAll 3 came off the biggest wins in their career and were champions. Khan hasnt donebanytbing at 140 for the past 3 years let alone at 147. This is a stupid question. Khan is tryjng to talk himself into the fight just because hes fast, not because hes earned it.

I don't think that any of them 'deserved it' anymore or less than Khan. But they didn't beg and whine like a biatch like Amir does. Maidana was coming off the biggest win of his career against Adrien Broner and he was the WBA champion at 147. Ortiz was coming off the biggest win of his career against then undefeated Andre Berto and he was the WBC champion at 147. Guerrero was coming off a win against Berto and he was the interim champion at 147 and he won titles at 4 weight classes, but in my opinion he was the worst of the 3, but still more accomplished than Khan at 147. What did Khan do at 147? Where is he ranked? What big win is he coming off of? He got knocked out 2 years ago and he had a knock out drag out with Diaz, he definitely needs to make more noise at 147 before he fights Floyd and fans should give Floyd credit for his opponent selection. At least he didn't fight a not rated at 147 blown up lightweight in Rios or a 140 pounder at a catch weight who coming off a knock out drag out with Provodnikov at 140, a fight which a lot of people think he lost.

Really bored of hearing the same 3/4 posters on here moanng about how Floyd is avoiding Khan. . . Truth be told if it wasn't for Ramadan Khan probably would've landed the Sept match with Floyd, it's his own fault for being religious.

Floyd's been capitalizing on fighting opponent who just scored a big upset. Once those guys score upsets then the fans start talking about how they would be good fights vs Mayweather. Then after Mayweahter dominates them they say that the fighter was undeserving of the Mayweather fight. Khan hasn't looked that impressive lately but I would love to see him fight Mayweahter.
