What are the most interesting divisions in boxing right now?
For me I'd have to say 160 175.
Is tripple GGG the "real deal" and will be eventually clean out the whole division? And what's up with cotto vs canelo? Which one actually has the cojones to face him?
Who's gonna come out on top of the 175 division is it gonna be kovalev or Stevenson or is BHop gonna rein supreme?
Heavy weights is looking like ist shaping up nicely for next year too.
Anyways, what say you???
126, Why
Nonito Donaire
Nicholas Walters
Abner Mares
Marvin Sonsona
Jhonny Gonzalez
Jesus Andres Cuellar
Evgeny Gradovich
Vasyl Lomachenko
Jayson Velez
Chonlatarn Piriyapinyo
Jesus Andres Cuellar
Could really , really end up fighting eachother , unlike 140 and 147
Flyweight and featherweight, no debate in my mind. Great talent and they fight each other.
To get the big bucks these small guys have to fight the best in the division, they can't fight unranked guys and get a mil. That's why you get donaire vs Walters fights.
175. After Kovalev gets his belts on Nov 8th, 175 will be more interesting than it has in a long, long time. Can't imagine the brutality of a Kovalev-Beterbiev fight in the near future. Forget Adonis, he opted out of glory and his time has come and gone.
140,147
Pacman, floyd, danny, marcus, lucas, khan, thurman, bradley, marquez, kell brook, porter, guerrero,, rios, alvarado, berto, peterson, Provodnikov, broner, ortiz (lol)
Wish they would all fight each other.
To me the WW division has the most intrigue but none of the top guys hardly ever fight each other. Wtfs the point?
For example: You have guys like Thurman who could fight guys like Maidana Alexander or even an Ortiz or Berto. But he's fighting some Arab nobody had ever heard of named Abundu.
Pretty much same **** in every division.
We get the fights we don't want more so than the fights we want.
Politics has crippled boxing, in every division.
I agree that's why I didn't mention the obvious. It's because WW is the "glamor" or money division. It's hard to really blame these guys for getting the most money. Even though it sucks
But you can't take money out of the equation.
