Oh stop it. I'm all for the Mayweather is ducking someone. But no need to add a fighter that hasn't even won a major title yet to that list. You still have the people who has a ducking list for Floyd 1. Pacquiao 2. GGG 3. Khan No need to add Thurman to that list, dude to me is no more threating than Marcos Maidana or Canelo Alvarez. And Thurman doesn't need a title to be supported as a Mayweather contender, he just needs a LOYAL fan base, and no not just those on forums. He needs the ones that show up like the Maidana, Alvarez and GGG fans. even if you hate mayweather and thinks he duckin fighters ggg is still a huge stretch even so

it would be a one sided beating by floyd.....thurman wouldn't beat the crap outta floyd because thurman isn't good enough.....period. Floyd isn't the same anymore and Thurman doesn't posses the usual weaknesses for him to exploit. Thurman would simply be just too much for Floyd.

Thurman hasn't done enough and doesn't bring anything to the table.. Yes it would be awesome for us hardcore fans but let Thurman fight and beat someone like porter, brooks, ghost, Maidana, etc. get a win like that before he can seriously be considered for a Floyd fight That's exactly the OP's point. Thurman hasn't been given an opportunity at Chino/Alexander/Ghost/Khan/Porter, i.e. match-ups that would raise his status and get him closer to a Mayweather match-up. IDK if it's being done purposefully, but Thurman should've fought a more notable opponent by now. He's still fighting fringe and unknown opposition. Yes, his next match-up against Bundu could lead to a title shot, but Thurman doesn't seem to be a priority in the Mayweather sweepstakes.

Just hope he doesn't go the Paul Williams route and moves up. Thurman will get his opportunities although he may never land Mayweather who'll likely take time off or retire officially.
