klitschko is very good, hes just a wimp on the inside. He knows if he doesnt clinch he will get hit so he avoids even if it means clinching the whole round. He has the skill to knockout guys in 4 rounds max, but he is way to scared and conservative he drags the fight into unneeded distances. Even emmanuel steward has said this This^ is true. I am a Wladimir fan of course. He could and DID waste all of his opponents in 4 rounds tops. In fact, his first loss against Ross Puritty was a combined result of facing someone with among the hardest chins in all of boxing and the fact that despite having 20 fights under his belt, Wladimir had never even seen a double digit round! Of course his newer "safety first" style almost guarantees the win, totally eliminates the chance of being upset KO'ed and makes him nearly invincible now. Of course it makes for more protracted and somewhat more boring fights. Can't really blame him for winning and not taking damage though. I wouldn't personally risk my own career/health to impress fans! Nobody has ever transformed heavyweight boxing like Klitschko did. He rendered all the usual established tactics of boxing, virtually worthless and unnecessary.

If you don't like what you see, change your station. Vladimir is one of the greatest heavyweights, ever.

It's also because he has a suspect chin. that's exactly why wlad does it. Hopkins does it because of his age. in wlads defense he doesn't do it in every fight tho. its usually only against the shorter swarmers that punch well on the inside

Wladimir Klitschko has surpassed Muhammad Ali and John Ruiz in wrestling, it's true. Also, The FOTC Ali v Frazier, previously the huggiest fight of all time was surpassed by Wladimir vs Povetkin by far, unfortuanately validating that past event and fuelling hatred for the former Soviet boxer. It should be noted that whilst Ali's clinching would be considered illegal and lead to certain disqualification now, Wladimir's is legal, however excessive.

Floyd and Ward do a lot of holding and they are considered "master boxers" so I guess it's ok for boring ass Wlad to hold too. Floyd held a lot in 1 fight at 37..stop it

klitschko is a really good fighter, and i enjoy watching him, you learn some good stuff, but the povetkin fight was horrible
