I see this kid blowing up into a huge superstar in the future after floyd and manny retire. He got the talent can box got power is young hungry and got the whole package to be a star and his interviews are interesting.
I think if he fought floyd now he could be the first to hand him that 0.
Mayweather would school Thurman, i doubt Keith would win a round.
Let's not go there. Thurman would win some rounds, especially if he catches Floyd with a good one (in which he likely would).
Amir's boxing ability is overrated
when he fought elite guys only time he has been comfortably ahead on the cards were against one dimensional outfighters
LOL,jeez you'll never learn.
Thurman-Khan would be a good fight. It'd tell us more about Thurman, and see if Khan's improvements are for real.
Khan could win a decision, but Thurman is a big puncher, and Khan has a glass jaw. I see Khan being ahead on the scorecards when Thurman lands something huge on Khan's chin and scores the KO.
After seeing how damned well Amir boxed Collazo, using his speed and movement, and cutting down his combos,*I could see him perhaps beating Thurman quite easily. He beat the crap out of Collazo, and basically didn't even get touched. That Amir Khan is going to damned tough for anyone to beat.
Thurman isn't big enough to get the fight unfortunately. I would like to see Thurman fight Brook, but it seems like Brook is ducking him. Thurman Brook is a logical fight, but maybe Thurman isn't that interested in that fight either.
Thurman is nasty, but I see speedy fighters being a problem for him. He has power, but he's quite slow, and the fastest guys around should be able to give him lots of problems.
How is Thurman slow? He has pretty good hand speed and can throw fast combinations. He's in no way a slow boxer.
Khan's performance over Collazo doesn't really tell me anything about how he would do against Thurman. They're like two completely different fighters.

Julio Diaz was feinting Amir into opening up for potshots ffs
It feels weird coz i like Bernard.Thurman will never beat Khan ffs,he ain't skilled enough to do it.And you comparing Thurmans ring IQ to Khans makes me wanna piss my pants
on top of having poor ring instincts he has an incredibly low ring iq
"Floyd can't fight inside." - Amir while talking to Brian Kenny
:nonono::nonono::nonono:
he'd do better than the commonly touted names Amir and manny
still got Floyd beating em all
for all of Thurman's flaws he's a natural bodypuncher, which should be an asset vs Floyd
he's reckless but so are Amir and manny. His ring instincts are great unlike Amir's
LOL:banghead::banghead::stupid:
Thurman would make the same mistake that ghost and canelo made and will try and box with Floyd instead of being balls to the wall aggressive like Castillo 1, hatton, Maidana 1..
Thurman usually fights at a laid back pace unless his opponent tries to turn it into a slugfest and then Thurman looks to bomb away...
We have yet to see Thurman in first a slow paced methodical boxer like Floyd, Hopkins, Vasquez and for good reason.. In a technical fight, Thurman would get badly exposed.. Thurman needs bangers like Chavez, rios, Diaz, porter, etc to look good..
Match him up vs a guy like Floyd and Thurman won't get lured into a slugfest but instead be in a slow paced fight and he will slowly get picked apart and beaten.. Just like ghost, canelo,
That's why Khan handles his ass.If Khan has learnt anything under Hunter it's to just box boring and methodically think for the whole period of the fight.

Like I said he speaks a good game. Its a good show of bravado, but up until this point he has not fought a good fighter. He is posturing and making his name known. While he does that he accepts whatever fight Haymon tells him to accept.
If Thurman is fighting whoever they put in front of him, then how is he cherry picking? He's already been turned down by guys like Maidana and Guerrero so in the meantime, he's just fighting whoever else is available. Saying he's cherry picking is ridiculous.
Thurman has consistently call out the bigger names, saying numerous times he wants to fight them, and not once has he ever turned them down when they were presented to them so no, he's not cherry picking and you have no proof that he is.

I like Thurman, but people keep giving Thurman passes because he is vocal and says he wants to fight the big fighters. He is speaking a good game, but actions speak louder than words. In reality he is cherry picking like all the other fighters, but since people want him to be the Mayweather slayer he gets a pass. He does whatever Al Haymon tells him to do, so I don't take what he says serious.

lol he didn't come close to losing the fight man. I had it 2-2 after 4 rounds, Thurman took over from there and I gave him the rest of the rounds except 1. And nobody is saying beating Chaves means he's the best boxer in the world. Nobody even hypes up Thurman, everyone accepts that he hasn't beaten any elite opponents, but he has beaten some good C level fighters and done it well, so he passes the eye test.
The reason he hasn't fought higher level of competition is because nobody wants to fight him. He's been openly turned down by multiple fighters in the top 10.
Maidana pulled out of the Thurman fight with two weeks to go because Thurman had 'too many KOs' or something like that, that's what Maidana's team said. The fact that he signed to fight him and then pulled out is what makes it a duck. Also it's not like he pulled out to fight some elite fighter for a big payday...he fought Soto Karass instead.

Canelo was drained and didn't have the energy to attack Floyd or else he would've. You see how much energy and explosiveness he had in his very next fight, right? If they fight again, without a catch-weight, Canelo hurts Floyd. As for RG, he's not a good boxer. He's a flat-footed fighter. Good hand-speed, tough, and has good stamina BUT he isn't what I would call a "good" boxer. He always comes forward and that's not what a boxer does. Thurman is a style nightmare for an aging fighter in the same way that Chris Algeri is. If Manny is old come November, he will lose that fight. No worries though, he is looking GOOD right now and is going to kick CA's ass! But you get my point.
he was explosive in the next fight because he was fighting a punching bag name alfredo angulo
