I think he would be a contender and maybe win a world title belt if a lesser fighter had that belt. He would not beat the best fighters fighting today at those weights but he probably wouldn't be KOed because he was very hard to knock out.
Two time world champ, fought in 147-154. How would he do today?
I'd say he would steam roll through Floyd he had the balls to fight a prime Roy Jones who I think was one of the best P4P ever. I'm talking prime here not after Tarverc
Coo coo. How would he fair today at 140?
it would come down to styles. he's ceratinly not an insurmountable great at 135-140 that would just roll through the division, like aaron pryor.
he was a solid boxer. he used the ring a lot before he moved up in weight.
paz' best weight was actually lightweight / 140. he was a good boxer, had some snap, and was tough.
he broke his neck in a car accident after moving to JMW, and eventually ended up at 168 lbs through weight lifting.
Vinny had a high workrate but I don't think he'll rise to the cream of the crop at 47 or 54.
His fight with Mayweather is a classic, Roger took him apart. Really frustrated Vinny
Care to elaborate? Good enough to beat any of the champs in either division? Top ten contender?
No. He was like a Hatton/Malignaggi love child without substance, mostly flash with a lack of boxing IQ. He doesn't beat anyone relevant.
