Every thread seems to go the same way, so how about we try and settle why some people like him and some hate him
Pros
Heart (in the ring) - Always gets up, wants to fight on
Speed/Natural talents - Potential
Exciting fighter
Never been outboxed
Will fight anyone - Has challenged low high risk, low reward fighters like Bradley, Josetio Lopez & Collazo
Prepared to change his game/learn
Personality
Warrior - Fought a dangerous style despite his chin
Had a pretty good run at 140, better than anyone from the same period or since
Cons
Heart (outside the ring) - Looking for a big payday to cashout
Speed/Natural talents - Potential wasted
No inside game
Ramadan
Thicker than a bag of ****
Talks so much ****
Weak chin (Not glass but not enviable)
He has losses on his record
His lack of loyalty to his trainers can be seen as both a pro or con, since he changes trainers because he wants to be a better boxer, that's admirable but leaving them seems kinda fickle but then again Roach and the like aren't as bro-tier as Robert Garcia
I like khan dont get the hate....maybe the whole floyd thing....but he has heart i will fight the best, and fight back when he shouldnt....TBH i bet if he was another race it wudnt be so most hate doe.
How much less often? it's only one month of a year. That could be off training time.
If not for Ramadan, he'd be fighting 3 times a year, that's why his rebuilding process has taken so long
I mean it's a con because it makes him fight less often
As a fan, I resent him for that

I disagree with these two. First: He hasn't fought with any top opponent since 2012, his last 3 fights were: Caros Molina, Diaz, Collazo and the next will probably Josesito Lopez who isn't more than a C-D level journeyman. So his recent resume is mediocre at best... And he ducked the already signed Alexander fight in december because he was scared to death that he would lose and then he can't fight with Mayweaher in May. Maidana fucked up his plan after all but that tells a lot about Khan's confidence. He wants to go against Mayweather but he is scared of a hypothetical Devon loss. After this you think this guy thinks just one minute that he is capable to beat Mayweather? :D
And his personality is kinda anthipathetic not sympathetic. But that's naturally subjective...
With that being said I don't hate the guy but he needs to fight better opponents and don't fuck around with Josesito Lopez or other C level guys and after that wait that maybe he earned the Mayweather payday with that. Now he's literally trying to talk himslef into a Mayweather fight.
If you don't practice Ramadan you won't make a comment like that.
Ask someone who does practice it they would tell you the beauty of it.
How Ramadan be con? It is a religious month once a year. If it clashes with training, you have 11 months to compromise it with.

To me his biggest flaw is that Khan has failed on many occasions to learn from his mistakes, he was making the same mistakes for his whole career and it cost him 3 fights (2 by stoppage and a close disputed fight that he could have made much easier on himself).
He did look better against Collazo though (he had the advantages but he actually properly used them at late to make it easy) so maybe at this late stage he has figured some things out. Which would be funny because that change would have come from being so inactive that he was really able to take to Hunter's teachings which many people have trashed but if someone wants to really change what they do in the ring they need to spend time in the gym and not try to do i on the fly.
I am interested to see if he continues to show this improvement or was it just a one off sort of thing although against Lopez I don't think he will be taking any steps back in progress.
Heart inside the ring should be a con. Khan should hold when he is hurt.
After seeing the Collazo fight, he probably will the next time he gets hurt
The heart thing was more to do with the end of the Garcia fight, he actually told Bayless he wanted to fight on
