So Timothy Bradley re-signing to Top Rank was a huge topic a while ago, many debated that Timothy Bradley was doing what was best for his family, money-wise.
So lets discuss this, clearly this Top Rank deal does not make his legacy better.
When he returns, so does beating Rios, Ruslan, Jessie Vargas do anything to raise his legacy?
Because as a Bradley fan, I feel that he could have cleaned our Golden boys ranks
He easily could have beaten
Broner
Danny Garcia
Shawn Porter
Thurman
Berto
Matthyse
Maidana
I mean, next to Mayweather, Bradley would be almost unstoppable against Haymon and Goldenboy fighters.

I dunno about a lot of what you're saying, but there is noway Bradley EASILY beats Maidana, Matthysse or Garcia.
Porter, Berto and Thurman would probably be easier.
tim bradley was contemplating ending his life after the pacquiao fight.
he hates boxing fans.
make your money and get out, timmy. this is a brutal, thankless sport.
Let's be real here. If he's with Haymon he would have been another protected fighter fighting nobodies. Who was Garcia's last fights? Not Broner, Peterson, Matthysse 2... Who was Peterson's last fights? Who was Matthysse's last fights? Who was Thurman's last fights? Who was Broner's last fights? And so on...
I believe it when Haymon fighters start fighting each other.
Wake up.

None of those fighters would improve his legacy especially over pacquaio and Marquez. Outside of Garcia that whole list is full of c level fighters or hype jobs who has no great win. The only fight Bradley could fight that would improve his legacy is floyd .
They are better matches with the Haymon fighters but this is prizefighting.
A career of a boxer is short and they have to do as much money as they can. That means getting a bunch of fights you don't want to see.
But you get your occassional surprise. Who would had thought that Bradley/Provo was going to be that fight it was
His decision as it is his career, his possible list of opponents is not that good and he is very likely to get frozen by Arum at some point due to those high guarantees and not much to do with him.
It is hard though when you have a fight offer in front of you that looks one way with an extension then another way without the extension (much smaller) and it is very easy to say a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush which is essentially what Bradley did. While not to the level of extortion that is a very coercive environment.
Hopefully he is happy with what he did and stays that way.
lol what makes you think GBP would've matched him up against other top guys?
Look at the kind of fights they're putting together atm...
They're doing it right now..... oh wait....
No one knows what went down in the negotiation room. I know I don't fault him for taking the higher guarantees with Top Rank even though we are missing some great fights. He was in a tough position when you factor in his wife being his manager and he really wanted to redeem himself against Pacquiao.
Also, who knows what he was promised. I'm sure Bob told him the cold war would be ending soon and he would be able to get any fights that he wanted. I would love to see him fight the Golden Boy fighters right now but I won't bash Bradley for making a decision that most of us would make as well.
Bradley doesn't have no damn legacy and could use the money. Floyd doesn't need money and needs to fight one guy and that's Pacquiao. I also wouldn't be surprised if some of the GB guys you listed beat Tim.
So are you saying that for some reason he couldn't build a legacy for some weird reason?

Lets be real, he would have been matched up with other top guys sooner or later.
I understand why he resigned with Top Rank, but as a Bradley fan I hate all the fights he can't get now that he stayed with Arum. It sucks, I don't want to see Bradley fight Alvarado or Rios or Vargas. A Ruslan rematch would be cool, that's it.
