No.
He was looking for a way out with Maidana in the 8th. Pitifully rolling around on the canvas trying to get Weeks to DQ Maidana.
It was some of the worst acting ever
You mean like Manny did with Barrera?
larryx puttin in work!

Say what you want about Broner but he is no punk.. he has no problem getting down when **** hits the fan. Yep he is a warrior...
People give him **** about maidana but that fight actually turned me into a fan of broner. He got heart.
He might not run from a fight, and he'll take punishment and keep trying but he is a massive ****ing punk. A genuine douchebag punk kid.
He just happens to be a pretty good fighter too. Doesn't change anything though. As it is, his career is already largely over. He might make some good fights with his mouth, but his promise is already been and gone, his future ruined and his problems solved.
Stands toe to toe. Loves to brawl, solid chin, tough as nails.. Does not use his legs much and loves brutal exchanges..
where was this broner vs porter? :lol1:
Broner does have a huge heart in the ring..
He got pummeled by Maidana and Porter and never backed down.. He nearly knocker out Porter in the 12th..
Broner could have easily buckled under the pressure like cintron, bojado, ortiz, etc

You just described his parking lot antics.
No one actually gives a fvck about Broner the boxer, right?

Why do you love Broner so much, Larry?
Why did you bump a two year old thread about Broner when Broner isn't even a big topic right now, just to bait larryx?
Let the man root for who he wants.
Broner didn't quit against Maidana even though he had plenty oppertunities and he finished strong even stunning Maidana a couple of times.
Seems like Broner's personality is the main determining factor in this case, which is understandable because he acts like an ass everytime he opens his mouth.
but what about trying to get maidana DQ'd in the 8º?
Exactly what is the current definition of a blood and guts warrior......how should a fighter respond during adversity to be considered part of the club?
Not quit like Roberto Ortiz did.
For sure. When he rolled around on the canvas trying to get Maidana disqualified I was sitting there thinking "Man, this is like seeing Gatti reborn."

yes, brandon. i misspelled it. but i think, blood and guts is an attitude, he never quit, and he is always up for a fight

I assume you mean Brandon Rios. Rios seems like a cool dude and a brawler with underrated defense. However I'm not sure everyone would label him a blood and guts warrior.....it wasn't too long ago that folks around here questioned his heart and called him a punching bag after his performance during the Pac fight.
