FIRED-UP Carl Frampton is expected to make a mandatory first defence before he can face either rival world champion Scott Quigg or Leo Santa Cruz.
The unbeaten Belfast star outpointed Kiko Martinez in front of 16,000 fans in his home city on Saturday to take the IBF world super-bantamweight title.
He is desperate to face British rival Quigg but first he must deal with littleknown American Chris Avalos.

frampton and quigg know riGod would beat them both on the same night. he could go to quiggs backyard and kick his ass at a family BBQ, then jog to belfast and do the same to frampton with quiggs bloody corpse strapped to his back.
what difference does it make?
everyone knows who the true champion at 122lbs is and he doesnt resign in brittain. obviously the so called "champions" who do have made the decision they would rather hide under a desk in fetal position clutching their paper titles than man up and get knocked the f#ck out by riGod.
who ever said they are worthy of receiving such a blessed ass whuppin' to begin with?
Your English is terrible, get back to school you retarded pr1ck.
Neither of these 2 is a genuine World champion, so therefore the fight should happen on neutral ground!! with a 50% purse split!!......
You don't know sh1t about boxing...
I think he means that if there were only one world champion in each weight class, like there should be, then neither Frampton nor Quigg would be the champion.
The true king of 122 would be someone else. And we all know what his name is.
But there isn't one champion per weight class. Why doesn't reality apply?

Kiko Martinez won a legitimate belt against Romero. The same belt he defended against Mathebula and Hasegawa, why was no one calling Kiko out or claiming he wasn't a genuine belt holder? So ignorant.
Frampton won a legitimate belt from a legitimate champion, period.

This fight has to be in a big arena, and it sells out any big arena in the UK, but unless they're willing to build an arena outdoors in Ireland again it has to be in England, and even then I think Frampton wins.
Do you idiots even know what a paper champion is? Rigondeuax is the lineal champion. That doesn't make Frampton a paper champion.
It's not like they stripped Rigo and gave the belt to Frampton. He legitimately beat Kiko Martinez who'd defended the IBF title several times after being Romero for it.
Idiotic use of the term "paper champion"
Yea... Quigg is the paper champion. Frampton actually showed he's a champion by pwning the shit out of Kiko and making people realize the only reason this is happening is for a belt
Frampton can have a belt, but he is a paper champ until he beats the real champion at 122 Rigondeaux.

They are right. Frampton is the draw and the world champion.
They are right, but they also have a responsibility to offer reasonable terms if they want the fight to happen.
Even tho his name in not mentioned Rigo could be 5th on Carl's list, that's couple of years from now when Rigo will turn 36 around this time of the year :)
Frampton and Barry be like "Rigo? Never heard of him mate." Lol
