I don't think Ortiz was too keen on continuing (perhaps he is related to the other Ortiz) as he didn't seem outraged by the early stoppage. Nevertheless, referees should give fighter the entire time they are entitled to. You think this would be one of the first things referees are taught.
It was reminiscent of the Scott-Chisora fight.
It is 8, 9, 10yourout. There's not another second after 10 before the fight gets stopped. It's 9, wave off at 10.
Problem is Ortiz's knees were off the mat, and he shouldn't have waved it.
