If Algieri fought the Taylor last night, he would had lost
Taylor doesn't move his feet at all and gasses quickly. Algieri would've beaten the "Taylor last night" even easier.
I'm not disputing what you're saying, it's just funny. You say "styles make fights" and then say nothing about Algieri's fighting style. Just straight into his vital statistics and measurements....LOL. Classic NE :lol1:
I wouldn't have you any other way
being tall has nothing to do with his style?
he's got a short neck and a smallish head. not all five foot ten inchers are created equal. the height of the shoulder is more important in a boxing match than the height of the top of the head.
you really can't expect a brit to understand anything. it's no wonder they go gaga over their one or two world class fighters per generation.

Yes that's true and very understandably so, because Algieri is a pure boxer who moves a lot and throws many more punches than Broner but without the snap or pop on them. However, he didn't come remotely close to KOing or even dropping Taylor in their bout as Broner did once he landed that beautiful left upper cut with just seconds remaining in the fight. If it had not been for that referee and if there was just a little more time remaining on that clock, Adrien possibly would've scored the knockout victory of Emmanuel Taylor.
Not sure about Broner, I had it 115-112. Why doesn't he step on the gas more?
ya thats probably true but i bet if you go back and watch it taylor didnt look the same. Was i only one glad see broner start calling out al haymon and garcia tho he did it real subtle. Get a big name calling out people for bs fights is a good thing
First you claim that Broner is a good boxer, then you claim that Algieri is pedestrian. Algieri would box Broner's ears off. And anyone that thinks Pac's gonna run through a guy that's 9 feet tall, and can box isn't one to converse with when it comes to boxing.
Alieri is pedestrian jn what he does in the ring. Nothing fancy no urgency to push. Thays what he meant. Broner needs to step on gas more and push that pace. Thats more his style not slowed down boxing.
Once again, he can't move nearly as well as Algieri. There's a difference. They are two totally different fighters. Broners skills lie elsewhere. Besides his movement, Algieri is a totally straightforward pedestrian fighter. I'm sure we will see that against Pac.

Broner's job is to put on gloves, and he knows the fundamentals of boxing. Of course he can box. He just can't box nearly as well as Algeiri.
Broner isn't that type of fighter, because he isn't that type of fighter. There's nothing else that needs to be said.

Broner certainly can box. Moving =/= boxing. Broner is just not that type of fighter. And I think he needs to learn that. Because he is gear at what he does when he lets them go. That's something a trainer needs to teach him tho.

Algeiri beat Taylor 10 rounds to 0
Broner went life and death with Taylor but he did knock him down
If Algeiri ever fought Broner, it would be even easier than the Taylor fight
This. Algieri beat Taylor much easier
/thread.
You mean that's because Broner can't box for ****, and he has to pretty much get in dog fights, because he also can't move for ****.

Yea he was clearly making it a point to box. **** is annoying. That's not his style. With that said, Taylor looked much better in this fight than he did against Algieri. And that's because if styles mainly.
