Barrera and Cotto.
Hatton was already beaten by Floyd, so was DLH, and DLH was well over the hill despite what the Manny tards and people who DKSAB who thought DLH had a chance in that current form say.
Manny is a living legend. Personally i see his Barrera, Morales, Diaz, Marquez and Bradley performances as his best.
The De La Hoya, Cotto and Hatton wins where nice but you gotta look at the context the fights took place in.
Oscar De La Hoya had not made 147 in over ten years and was clearly drained that night. He was also coming from a loss to Mayweather and a win over Forbes.
Cotto was just never the same after the beating from Margarito and was coming off a hard split decision over Clottey. Miguel was also not fighting at a comfortable weigh for him.
Hatton was coming from being TKO'ed by Mayweather and even looked shaky in his comeback fight against Lazcano.
Again, i think those where nice wins but its hard to overlook the context.
Good question but do we mean the clean Pac or when we believe he was on something?
When he was on something. Hatton
Clean. Bradley 2
How about Barrera? Thats a better win than Bradley 2? Wonder what Floyds best clean win was, before he got on PEDs
What do you consider as Manny's greatest moment?

You have to clarify whether you are talking about his finest hour under the influence of PEDs or not under the influence of PEDs.
Get back to me when you can actually prove he was on any type of PED, Floyd already lost a suit over it....
I'm not turning a blind eye to anything. I thought jmm lost to Bradley, but thought he beat John. Mayweather was special circumstances (moving up 2 weight classes + mayweather showed up overweight), but thought he got school'd.
That doesn't detract imo from his destruction of pac, or his incredible boxing ability.
See this is where nationalism goes ugly.
4 close fights = destruction?
About to get KO'd himself, then throws KTFO6 = destruction?
See... this is why in 2014, Pac fans WANT THE REMATCH... JMM FANS want to AVOID THE REMATCH. Ya'll know damn well Juan can't replicate the same performance, especially under random blood testing. Lose Lose.
I know this is a popular opinion but I don't necessarily agree with it. The second knockdown drastically altered the course of the fight. I know it doesn't make sense at all to discredit the KD/punch, but I feel it would've been super-competitive to the end if Cotto had just fought smarter. I think a rematch would show this.
But hey, what happened happened, and you're right that it will go down in history as a brutal beatdown.
I'm not sure how you can say you don't necessarily agree he was dominated. You go on yourself to point out he was knocked down twice. All the scores were very wide. It isn't a case of what if's or how a rematch may or may not pan out. Two knockdowns and wide scores is a domination. I like both guys but it's entirely right the history books reflect that as such already.
Barrera I think. That was an astonishing performance. He was a much more complete and polished fighter by the time he beat Cotto, but the Pacquiao that demolished Barrera he was just a raw force of nature.
His performance against Cotto was frightening but we already knew he was a great fighter by then. The Barrera fight was one. of those special moments where something truly unique emerges right before your eyes.
styles make fights doe.
Explains why JMM took 4 fights to floor someone (where as he only usually needs one) & why he won't ever rematch Pac/Bradley/Mayweather.
You Marquez nationalites, bust sooo many nuts over KTFO6.... but turn a blind eye when this wrecking ball can't catch a slick fighter.
Atleast Manny can. :smashfrea
I vote for De La Hoya
Oscar was supposed to destroy a Pacquiao that had to skip 140.
And he made him quit on the stool. This is the same guy that fought Pernell, JCC, Tito, BHop, Mosley, Vargas, Mayorga, etc.
Marquez 4. Legend losing to a greater legend.
"greater legend" :twak:
I'll just leave this:
TIMOTHY "THE DESERT STORM BRADLEY" & MIGUEL "ANGEL" COTTO....
2 guys JMM could never beat no matter how roided Memo makes him.
I'm just patiently waiting for Mayweather/Pacquiao 1... cuz I know Manny would do sooooo much better against May than JMM did.
Bradley/Mayweather/John..... all non-come forward fighters that gave JMM hell.
Marquez.... the only counter-puncher to give Manny hell.
DIFFERENCE. DIFFERENCE.
Cotto as it stands. It has to be the one with the least or hardly any, caveats to it.
He was a decent size, a sound boxer, strong, hard hitting, has shown he's tactically astute and gave Mayweather one hell of a fight.
Pacquiao absolutely dominated him.

Barrera. Absolutely dominating a prime ATG.
This ^ I'm a huge fan of Barrera but Pac beat him to the point where one of Barrera's cornerman jumped in the ring literally crying and had the fight stopped!
