Never been knocked down and took some bombs last night and took them very well.
Everyone thought Brook will get rocked around the ring but not even once. Brook had Porter hurt 3/4 times.
both guys looekd to show very good chins. porter hit him with some good shots, but he really had trouble landing clean and on the chin. kelly would roll the right hands, and the left hooks he'd duck enough or block, so they'd land on the head.
his chin looks fine. both guys appeared durable. porter had to show more chin, because he took some clean bombs when he came in.
Porter doesnt have brutal power, he scored one TKO in a couple of years and he didnt land anything of significance last night
Brooks chin question still remains, we truly dont know until he steps in the ring with a huge puncher..which imo he doesnt need to do yet.
And no, not really.
What he showed was that he could deal with a strong inside fighter, but he didn't really take any solid punches or anything like that. He proved he had a relatively good defense .
I saw there was a part where Porter dug his feet into the canvas, got low and tried to push Brook into the ropes but failed miserably. I think Brook ended up turning him after the fail attempt by Porter. Lol
Took some bombs? Not really.
He rarely got hit flush. Porter is sloppy and Brook fought damn near perfectly. I think it yet remains to be seen if he has a good chin or not.
Yeah. One of my questions was his chin, but he really didn't have to take many clean power shots last night. He fought so well it didn't really come up.

Kell Brook has been knocked down before in one of his first fights. I saw it on youtube the other day.
Even though it was more like a touch down on the canvas.
