I would think so... Porter handles brook, that's 3 impressive wins over brook, Pauli, Devon- all top 10 guys, plus porter undefeated... I thought porter should have gotten Floyd in September this year, but if can wait til next May..
38 yr old Floyd in May 2015 gets beat up by porter.... U heard it here first
He'd have to beat a more name worthy fighter then those 3 like a khan or The ghost ones almost washed up completely and the other hasn't proven a thing really only really good win was Alexander.

Shawn Porter brings close to nothing to the table as far as money goes. Just look at his twitter account. 9K followers and it's not even verified. I'd def like to see the fight happen but this is a business. Amir Khan & Danny Garcia are the most likely future opponents for Floyd if they get pass their respective fights later this year. I even think it would be easier to make a Mayweather/Brook fight since Kell does have a huge following in the UK.
Do people really think Mayweather is going to fight Porter or Brook for that matter?
Yeah, he should fight Amir "King" Khan. He deserves it more than Porter.
Porter vs. Thurman, winner gets Floyd. I don't want these guys to not be ready before they step in with Floyd. Winner of that fight will be as ready as they'll ever be.
Would be hard to deny him and come up with a reason WHY he shouldn't get a shot a Mayweather next, on a solid winning streak and is facing another Top Welterweight Tomorrow. But I think the same goes for Kell Brook, that would put him in the Mayweather Sweepstakes as well! The Willing will be undefeated making either fight very marketable.
Porter didn't even want to entertain the question when being asked about Mayweather.. lol He's focused on tomorrow night. He's knows if he wants a shot at Floyd, he has to look good. No point in talking.
If you don't want Porter, who do you want Floyd to fight next. You homies talk as if your hero has lots of options. Name one you want to be with your idol in the ring after Maidana. Just one.
Don't think Porter is line for Money yet. I think Porter vs Thurman is coming up soon. Thurman should be at the Porter vs Brook fight to call out the winner.

Again, that's true to an extent. It doesn't. It's just not the same as "Mayweather doesn't like fighting Black fighters." Maybe if you said "Mayweather doesn't like Black fighters who won't sell well....oh and Argentinean journeymen too. And weak-chinned Arab-Brits, etc. etc."
As a general rule, he doesn't pick fellow black fighters to fight.
Baldomir was an Argentine journeyman and I'm pretty sure Mayweather tried to make that fight first but said he priced himself out or something. He was willing to fight Ricky Hatton over Zab and Hatton had never even fought in the US. It's what he thinks will sell and as a rule, he doesn't think black vs black sells.

If you're referring to Black fighters not selling as well, that's true to an extent (Mayweather is Black, after all). But I believe the el stupido comment made was "Mayweather doesn't like fighting Black fighters." That doesn't go hand in hand. I think this is the same guy who chose Zab over Baldomir initially because of money. So it's about green, and not skin color.

It's not a far cry at all, the two premises go hand in hand.
