I was on ESPN.com/boxing today and saw my comments as well as some others comments pposted word for word in the comments section about the Rios/Chavez fight. I posted the comments last night around 1:30 am est in the thread about Rios going to the hospital after the fight and saw today that some guy named Steven Jewusiak with the University of oArizona logo as his avatar had pasted my entire paragraph word for word as his own. Needless to say I was shocked. At lease he could have said something like as someone said on Boxingscene.com or something of that nature. I know I am not a professional reporter or anything but that is just plain lazy and cheap.
ESPN.com boxing section and Youtube has the absolute WORST comments I've ever read about boxing.
Those dudes are literally clueless
Some of the comments you made about Joe Frazier and the heavyweight division makes the ESPN guys look like they came straight out of Manny Steward's school of boxing.
happened to me too...i posted 'Jesse Vargas is boring' and saw it word for word used in many sites
Nyahahahahahahaha... I can use that too, I know you wont mind Nyahahahaha but somebody would Im sure. :boxing:
I think it should be illegal but then who knows the laws. Certainly they gain by it because posts create activity and activity creates ads which creates mofo malware or money.
Paid or not paid I wouldnt do that to anyone. I just believe in acknowledging the source and not using someones matrial as my own no matter what it is. Like I said its lazy and cheap but hey guy thanks for sharing my views with the folks on ESPN since I dont post there anymore since they made the facebook deal or whatever it is. Thanks for the feedback guys, even those of u who were negative in ur replies. I kinda posted this without taking a moment to fully think about it. I still think that what the reposter did was distasteful to say the least but it is what it is and the world is so much bigger than a few opinionated statements posted on a forum.
It happens, it just means you wrote something cool, and as long as you know where they got it from thats all that matters. I think that s##t is funny, so you got a couple of stans. We all got them, it's usually the new posters on here trying to get their ranks up in our Gym.
I usually get really excited and happy if i see my comments copy and pasted unless they criticize them, then i get really butthurt and just want to stop living

Wow, I thought you were asking about people quoting your posts on this site which is fine as it continues the debate/conversation. Can't believe someone would just cut and paste your exact post from here on ESPN. Makes me think someone from ESPN is on here looking for things to post in the comments to stir up conversation and push more clicks on their site. Ill have to keep an eye out for any familiar posts on there.
i remember a thread similar to this thread from a while back.
