Are they finally going to try and make the Golovkin fight? He's 31 years old, he hasn't headlined a card yet, is babysitting a belt and has yet to fight a guy in the top 8. His best win was against N'Dam who was maybe holding down the 10 spot but who cares?
BoxRec says he cherry picked Andy Lee for the Floyd undercard but no news source has reported that. He's on the verge of irrelevancy if he's not already there.
People need to start putting pressure on him. GGG vs. Quillin would be a big fight in New York at this stage.
I think a lot of us were shocked that despite all those kD's... peope were still up in the air with it
Quillin damn near lost every round he didn't get a KD in.
Don't you have me on your ignore list? So you manually open and close all of my posts just to read them even though I'm on ignore? What a waste of time. It's clear you have interest in my posts though.
Those two posts I did, I saw somebody quote you.
Only time I notice the retarded drivel spewing from your hands to your keyboard
Haymon doesn't work with Arum so there goes that logic. Quillin is in a position where he can only fight Golden Boy guys and let's be honest their stable isn't the deepest at 160.
Word is he's fighting Andy Lee next which is an excellent fight for him to take.
Well he's about to work with Arum if he doesn't want that belt dropped... he's not fighting lee next with a belt
Quillen is up there with being one of the most mediocre middleweight champs ever! Darren Van Horn would outbox Quillen to a UD. Cotto wins a UD as well in a tough fight at -30 pounds.
That fight against N'Dam was an eye-opener. I haven't looked at Quillin the same since. He knocked N'Dam down a handful of times, but I walked away more impressed by the loser than the winner. Remember when he compared himself to Floyd and Rigo, and how people don't appreciate his boxing ability? He can't even deliver impressive performances against C-level opposition! He's easily one of the most frustrating boxers right now.

Yea, but he had all those knockdowns

Give me a ****in break. All I ask is for Quillin to fight more than twice a year, and for him to stop looking so damn mediocre against his current level of opposition. If you're gonna only fight twice, then you should look your absolute BEST every time out.

Would love to see @KIDCHOCOLATE vs GGG, my Latino brother would do a number on the G man.— Oscar De La Hoya (@OscarDeLaHoya) July 28, 2014

Quillen is just staying busy vs mediocre competition until canelo moves to 160..
Quillen-canelo will be when haymon cashes out quillen, probably late 2015
