I hope ggg doesn't get the Floyd treatment . In where people want him to move up drastically in weight. Kov is a beast, ggg is as well. But in order to get ggg to move up, he'd still have to go through a division that's pretty well stacked at 168.
There's no need for ggg to get at someone from 154. Not even Canelo. Focus on unifying 160, and if no one steps up then take the proper directions up north. Bika or Dirrell. Whoever wins that fight. Then Froch or Chavez Jr. If he handles two of those, get a super fight with ward. Then the talks of Kov can began. Til then, enjoy watching him dominate.
Why even mention this? It's like saying Keith Thurman would obliterate Gamboa.. ofcourse he fuc'kin would he's two weight classes above him.
Anyway people dickriding Ward on this thread need to goto sleep, GGG makes 160lbs without any problems, no weight drain or excessive rehydration, hence why he wants to stay at the weight. FML some people.
Doesn't GGG KO Heavyweights?
Why would weight divisions matter for some one who can KO HW's? He should go straight for Wlad.
Ward's irrelevant now, he so scared he sue his promoter just to avoid some fighters lower in his division!
Let ward fight his own size! :boxing:
You ****ing retard...
Why don't I just come out and create a thread saying Wladimir Klitschko would put Mayweather in a damn bodybag!
BUT noooo lets just compare GGG to a guy two weight classes above him, freaking dumbass.
Wasn't there a story that Golovkin used to get the better of Kovalev in sparring and actually stopped him with a body shot?
In some Kovalev interviews he also talked very highly of Golovkin, almost in awe.
He should be the favorite, because he's much bigger. But i wouldn't be surprised if Golovkin stopped him.
That's what I was going to say.. Word is that ggg stopped kovalev in sparring
