Cotto isn't going near Golovkin, don't be a Cottard

well, if there were an old super middleweight with broken knees holding a belt he might do it, like miguel just did, don't you think? Damn. You can't even say anything after that, Cottards. ****, i thought rape was illegal I'm a Cotto fan but this was really funny. I will always support Cotto win, lose, or draw, but if Cotto fights GGG, he gets "good boy'd". I acknowledge the fact that, as of right now, Cotto holds the LINEAL middleweight belt, but he will not fight Golovkin. There's less of a risk and more money to be made by chasing Canelo (one because he has a MUCH larger fanbase and, two, there's a PR-Mexican angle in the mix). That's boxing politics for ya'. If Cotto fights Golovkin, I am POSITIVE he will wither down the stretch. Cotto has more experience than all of Golovkin's opponents put together, but he is NOT a true middleweight by any stretch of the imagination. Golovkin goes in there and might lose a couple rounds, maybe three, maybe four, maybe five...his bodywork would add up and we would get a less bloodier, albeit more brutal ending.

I can't predict how this plays out but relying on Cotto's career...ducking ain't in his DNA. Agree. He is never been my favorite and I think GGG is too much. But Cotto is not a ducker. If for once he choses to cash out, he earned it. Not judging him

i don't believe is gonna happen but i wanna see the fight because IMO GGG should be crowned as the lineal middleweight champion (officially). Only reason why I'd wanna see it is because it would make GGG a household name and more fighters would be willing to get in the ring with him.

Respect to Cotto, he has looked better after being with Roach, especially offensively. However, to dig deeper. Rodriguez was a C+/B- level fighter and in hindsight, Sergio was shot to hell. I think Sergio was what, 50% in that fight? Roach was a wise one picking him at that moment. No way Roach puts Cotto in the ring with GGG lol. Or Quillin. I wouldn't be shocked if Roach somehow kept Cotto out of the ring with Canelo. Cotto loses to GGG, Canelo and Quillin...and I think gets KOed or brutally stopped by all 3 of them. Cotto was at his best and most devastating at 140. 147 he was pretty good as well. 154 he was solid somewhat but that one fight against a shot Sergio doesn't show much at all at 160.

What's sad is your the same person picking Sergio to win knowing this. Shows how bias your comments are. people like me were only picking sergio to win IF (and that was a big IF) he was recovered from his injuries. i'm not stupid but i won't deny i was expecting something else.

(i actually think it would've been even worse) i don't think that beating cotto at this moment does something else for his career than adding a big name to his resume (the fight will be a total missmatch but he would get a lot of exposure), but he will get the belts, and that's all that matters. then he should move up.

If you want to see GGG vs. Cotto, then just watch the first Margarito fight and remember that GGG doesn't need to load his gloves plus he would get him out much faster as well as much more brutal.
