The best way to deal with a runner is to stop in your tracks once he does his six step backward crap. Just stand there and wait for him to come back to you. Reality is Lara hit Canelo more than the other way around, frustrated him n made him look bad, no way in hell any reasonable, impartial party would have it 117 -111 for Canelo, he knows it, Lara knows it n we all know it; business wise it's beyyer that Canelo wins it, we all know it n that's what we got, live w it n be happy.

He said Marathon. But you dudes are overblowing his running and completely selling Lara short. He boxed beautifully at times and made Canelo look terrible at times. I had it 115-113 Lara. I had Canelo to win this fight in brutal fashion and he got shooled for most of the fight. Lara only has himself to blame though he gave rounds 9,10 and 11 away thats 3 in a row. Maybe UFC is for you guys. Lara won the first 3 rounds in my book, but his movement was making Canelo reset and he was landing punches while doing so. After the 3rd, his movement was more about avoiding confrontation. His punch output dropped and Canelo's increased while Canelo basically chased him and roughed him up when he could catch him. He did box beautifully at times, but manly only in the first 3 rounds. After that, from the 4th on, I could see and feel a change in him and Canelo controlled the momentum. Lara squeaked in a couple extra rounds where Canelo did not do much either, but I had Canelo winning 7-5
