I'd put stacks on Broner. At least he didn't quit when he was getting his ass whooped by Maidana, although he did all that overreacting to minor forearms & rolling on the canvas acting like he got shot. Judah, on the other hand, would just quit if **** got too tough for him (watch him against Clottey and Khan). What do you guys on the oh so loving NSB forums think?
How is Broner a mental midget? He took his beating like a man and never stopped trying. Judah would have quit in a fight like that.
mental midget.....hmmm...
i am not inclined, as i am not in a position to tag a fighter as such...
as i am not the one receiving the blows...the punishment...the pain...
but there will be instances that i will not hesitate to use that tag to a fighter who thinks he already lost....
a fight that has not yet been already signed....
Broner isn't as mental midget though. I understand most people don't like him, I surely don't. But when Broner was getting mollied in the early parts of the Maidana fight, he hung in there and got some good work out of the middle rounds. And he took his licks like a man. I don't see how you're calling him a mental midget. (In boxing terms anyway).
He's not as bad as Judah but he was completely classless in the way he took that loss, how he was rolling all over the ring like he got shot after a minor clash of heads from locking (not clinching) Maidana's arms up so he couldn't move, and from the butt-****ing motion near the end of the 1st round for no damn reason whatsoever.

Nice comments on the thread
Irony being what it is both the spaz and the can man were/are touted as supremely talented....Judah has many more actual gifts but if they fought the can man might be able to take a whippin and fold the spaz in the later rounds.
Having said that Corey Spinks is not a good example of the Spaz being succesful. Judah's problem is pressure guys who figured out that the mental midget would fold if you could just hold on a few rounds.
As for Bronner if one looks carefully at his fights and supposed wins, he has not done ****. He got some gift decisions is what he did. And my prediction is that unlike the spaz who ultimately became an extraordinary gate keeper, even winning the division a few times, the can man will become sh1t because he has poor technique and his punch does not carry in the bigger divisions.
Judah against Cotto(off the top of my head)..Not a head butt, yet it was a fighter rolling around on the floor..BTW I disagree..The head butt that Maidana hit Broner with was far worst then the ortiz headbutt..Maidana was directly under Broner's chin homie..Don't get much worst then that..
Hopkins did it when he quit against Dawson.
I really don't get how Broner is a mental midget??Broner has never shown to be mentally weak..So right away I don't agree with the thread subject..A better comparison would be Zab and Ortiz..
Yes I agree with you there.
Zab-Ortiz that's a battle of mental midgets.
Judah, what is a prime Judah? The one that lost against Carlos Baldomir? I'm not sure who this prime Judah is. I have always waited for Judah to put it all together. He never has. Never. There is no prime Judah.
Broner showed he ain't got quit in him, if push came to shove, Judah would fake a low blow, stagger around the ring, start pointing at the ref, have a lil cry and the **** off back to Brooklyn are what ever lil **** hole he came from.
Truer words have never been spoken. Broner could easily stop Judah if he wanted.

LOL. Floyd took a billy-goat headbutt, and simply appealed to the ref and held his jaw with one glove, and then knocked out Ortiz immediately after (manly reaction). Broner got a way lesser headbutt and literally started ROLLING AROUND ON THE FLOOR in front of millions of people (pansy reaction).
When have you seen a boxer roll around on the mat like that? Give me one, I wanna look it up.

Dude, you cant just make things up lol. i never said i'd never seen boxers complain to the ref. I clearly wrote that I had never seen a boxer rolling around on the floor to get attention (broner did this in the maidana fight). Have you? In what country is that a manly thing to do?
Broner was clearly headbutted..It possibly broke Broner's jaw on the spot..I don't think it was acting, the same way I did not feel May was acting when Ortiz lifted off his feet and billy goated him..Broner did the manly thing btw,he finished the fight and never stopped trying to win..
judah is freaking shot to sh#T. he looked freaking ancient when showtime showed him on camera in between rounds.
broner beats him up at this point.
prime zab would box circles around broner, and as long as he didn't lose it mentally or gas, he'd win the decision.
prime judah was freaking FAST.
You don't have the option to vote "DreamMerchant is a ****ing moron."
So I didn't vote.
You said Bronette didn't quit against Madinna...lie detectors proved that was a lie.
Truth is, she tried to quit like the little ***** she is but the ref wouldn't let her. The ref, like the rest of us enjoyed watching the ignorant get beat up so he allowed Madonna to head-butt her and whatnot. That ref was a class act for letting Bronette get her savage beating.
Zab has taken some honest beatings, he didn't always completely check out.
And I believe Broner's boxing mentality to be one of his better attributes, he's out standing right in front of you most of the time, he's tough...i don't see him as a mental midget. Broner showed in the Maidana fight that he can settle into a fight even after the sh*t has hit the fan. I'm kinda interested to see if he would be able to pull out a fight like that next time he is in trouble.
as far head-to-head, I think Zab would run circles around him and would hurt Broner in the early rounds. His style is made for someone who has a wide base like AB, and without true 1 punch power he'd struggle to keep Judah off of him. if he can settle in then i see him creeping back into the fight.
He took his beating while setting unprecedented levels of complaining to a ref, rolling around on the floor to get attention for a foul (I'd never seen that before in boxing), and punching after the bell. Then after he took his beating, he ran out the ring because he wasnt man enough to face the people.
Youre right about Judah quitting however. They're both a pair of pansies.
None of what you posted means Borner is a mentally weak fam,and as for complaining about fouls..If you never seen that before you need to watch more boxing, what Broner did in that fight has been done before and will be done again..Has nothing to do with folding late in fights or just quitting on yourself in a tough fight..Broner took his L in that fight, and fought hard to change the tide..I can't say he's a mental midget behind that performance..If anything he proved to me that he was tougher and had more heart then I originally thought..
