Pac will have a great legacy when its all said and done.... but 2 things hurt manny's legacy 1. rejecting the drug tests the first time trying to make the floyd fight.. That is just unacceptable to walk away from the biggest fight ever over drug testing.. 2. Resigning with arum, multiple times.... Manny didnt follow the blueprint that floyd and cotto have used.. Manny being an idiot and resigning with bob arum will affect his legacy because manny missed some big fight over the past 4-5 years, when he could have easily been a free agent like cotto and floyd and work with promoters on a fight by fight basis....... floyds fans would always say that manny had avoided the blood test, they would not rather say that both camp had not agreed to the cut-off date. saying that manny avoided the blood test and not mentioning the cut-off date is not a spin- it is a lie. people want them to fight for 5 years now. and the condition that manny leave arum is a condition that floyd demanded only recently. floyd has not mentioned it in the first negotiation, he never mentioned it when he offered manny 40 million. he never mentioned it in the 4 years that the media is interviewing him. you should not always believe and parrot whatever floyd' d says. floyd is not articulate and always making a fool of himself in interviews- you should not repeat whatever he says.

by deciding to duck floyd by refusing to take drug testing( i doubt he/was on PEDS, uncle bob probably didn't want manny to lose,but now he has ruined his legacy forever tainted.. think about this: when ever they got interviewed the reporters almost always ask each about the other. pacquiao is calling out floyd and called him scared. and floyd always has an alibi in not making the fight such as "manny just wanted it for money". i got a large collection of 80's music videos downloaded from youtube, im sure some people had downloaded and save floyds interviews with his alibis. those videos will serve as a good reference why the 2 best boxer in this generation havent fought. even if you yourself decided to write a book writing that manny avoided floyd, people will always upload videos of floyds alibis easily disproving your book. floyd's legacy will be tainted not manny's.

Yes Pacquiao did ruin his legacy for either being a YES man to Bob or greedy for money by taking pointless rematch fights/not top fighters : Margarito, Mosley, Rios,. That KO by Marquez gave his haters so much ammo against him, he should have never taken that 4th fight nor 3rd. I remember there were rumors of him just sitting out until he got that Floyd fight, which he should have just done. Should have just waited to fight floyd especially after the margarito fight. his legacy was on top of the world at that time

Pacquiao's legacy is solid. His accomplishments will put him up there with the greats I believe. If he doesn't get a crack at beating Mayweather, it doesn't taint his overall body of work imo. I like PacMan because he really put a spark in boxing that seemed to be missing once guys like Mike Tyson started fading. I like how he came back after the Marquez knockout, beat a p4p guy in Bradley and got himself back on top, something that guys like Roy Jones couldn't quite accomplish. As far as the drug allegations, the media has moved on because hey man there just isn't solid proof that sticks. The Mayweather's and their flock keep beating that dead horse.
