According to a publication of Live Fight, Saul "Canelo" Alvarez is not training 100% for his bout on July 12 against Erislandy Lara at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.
Apparently Alvarez is training when he wants, hr has sent his sparring partners home and it is mentioned that he weights about 170 pounds
At last Mr. Boxing had the opportunity to talk with Eddy Reynoso the Alvarez team who in 2013 mentioned that Canelo was a little immature and therefore not fought with great fighters and expect to grow up to take the plunge but Alvarez apparently has not yet matured getting carried away by these statements this person linked to the team Alvarez

The same thing can be said of Trout, suffered his first career loss to Canelo and he looked like he was on drugs or something during the ring walk for the Lara fight. He didn't look like he was even ready for the fight or something.
Lara talked his way into this fight, now he gets to see what this "hypejob" is all about.
Lmao Angulo received a beating from Lara and QUIT. While Trout arguably beat Canelo.
Not even comparable.
For me it's hard to say how Canelo will come out in this fight. I feel like his team is over confident in his hand speed which was evident in the Mayweather fight where their game plan predicated on Canelo shooting faster harder shots at range. Canelo didn't bully Mayweather and Floyd simply set the tone for the fight and got off first dominating the rounds. Not knocking Canelo but lets just say he hasn't proved himself to what I think he could be; he's just a little young and kind of hard to say considering he has had 40 something fights but inexperienced when compared to guys like Lara or GGG. He showed his power against Angulo which is his greatest asset besides maybe his chin which I assume is good. What it all boils down to is can Canelo control the tempo from early on and keep Lara off his game plan or will Lara pot shot, take over the tempo and make Canelo do what he did with Floyd and that is stay at range and allowing Lara to get off first. I think this fight will be a big deciding factor on whether Canelo is the type of fighter to do anything it takes to win and that is make adjustments. I have a feeling Canelo's gameplan for this fight is not like the way he fought angulo but relying to much on his speed and boxing ability. Lara on the other hand will be able to time Canelo and use his better boxing ability to frustrate and throw him off. What I fear most for Lara is if he can avoid not getting hit flush because I think Canelo will be looking for the finish if the opportunity presents itself.

Yea you know these hypejobs with no fan base. :pat: Amazing what feats they overcome and levels they can reach. All other hype jobs should take notice.
You don't think Lara landing 221 punches and 142 power punches on Angulo and almost took his eye out kinda soften him up for Canelo. Don't look into Angulo too much, both fighters fought a different Angulo.
After the 4th Lara takes over

I'm starting to feel the same way. As long as he doesn't try to outbox him and just lets his hands go, Lara could be in for a long night.
Or a short night, I think it all depends on how Canelo approaches it, like you said.
Canelo is consistently doubted heading into every single fight and the only guy to best him was Floyd Mayweather. The kid has never tasted the canvas while Lara ate the floor twice against the guy that Canelo beat to pieces in his last fight.....don't be shocked when Canelo hurts Lara in this fight.

:) ... What Cuban school? It's only about money -- one can see it from a mile distance...
(later edit: no weight class, no belt... Lara takes his money and Canelo takes his "big win"... What's so difficult to understand?)
Must be tough being a fan feeling these high level fights are fixed. smh.
Lara will thoroughly outbox Canelo.
Only an unrelenting maricon, such as yourself, would mention snake size.
By the way, is that a pic of Golovkin after he took your virginity? The blood on his shorts seem to suggest so.
there's nothing wrong in admiring other man's snake
don't be a macho :flirt:
Lara fans shaking and backpedaling already lol. :lol1: :lol1:
If Canelo's snake sticks out too much at the weight in me not buy PPV. If Canelo beats the **** out of Lara me ask for refund because judges made the gloves of Canelo... what. LMAO.
Lara is going to get the beatdown of his life, a paliza as it is called in spanish. Easy fight to predict, easy.
Lolololol "He a LHW fighting at JMW!! Lara was cheated on the scales doe"

If Canelo misses weight then I wont buy the PPV. Simple.
you don't want to see your hero destroyed uhh?
you will miss the biggest fight of a cuban boxer in years?
What did Chavez Jr come in and lay out a training regimen for Canelo?
I hope this isn't true for his sake. Lara looks to be in great shape
confrimed..
