Tremendous amount of talent and can easily outbox most opponents they lost to with the right trainer, discipline and focus, but they end up fighting stupid/reckless or have too much ego and become lost potential
i've never seen judah fight wreckless, he barely throws punches even when he's down 8 rounds.
Yeah he goes into a shell and tries to survive, and just hopes to land one bomb.
No.
I'm mainly talking about the level of talent that they both have (not fighting styles or anything) but not realizing it fully from lack of dedication and focus
Then you're completely wrong. Gamboa was just outgunned against a bigger opponent, he fought the only way he knows how and went out on his shield. Zab would have folded after the first knock down and would have given up.
I don't see the comparison. I take it this is the first Gamboa fight you've seen?
No.

Gamboa is better than Zab.
Yeah though, all the talent in the world, it's just his mental approach that costs him. Yuri doesn't have the discipline of someone like Rigo to win a fight by being smart, he wants to engage and he wants to rumble...That's what cost him.
Gamboa embraces the fire fight. First sign of trouble and Zab's running like the wind.
This. Gamboa's balls and heart are 10x that of Zab. Zab was a mental midget
