We get it, Philippines politicians are corrupt but this is an appreciation thread for a great atg athlete and human being. If you have nothing appreciative to say about him then please leave. It is utterly disgusting and shameful how people will try and tarnish the reputations of great men. Great men like wlad, Oscar and PAC don't deserve to be ridiculed and tarnished with lies and filth. I wish nothing but the best in your life and hope you may find a path toward the Lord because it's only through him will you find peace. We'll never see another fighter with his personality and fighting style in our lifetime. I think this thread should be brought back up once he retires, but considering I feel his retirement is on the door knocking, it doesn't feel all that off. lol he's not retiring anytime soon. ppv kings take forever to retire because their name is worth money. plus manny needs the money to continue buying off elections in order to stay in office where politicians steal money from the people.

i came upon this short clip of manny giving back to the people. i have no idea what they're saying but this shiiet actually brought tears to my eyes watching it LOL.. post up any video clips, stories, that u stumble upon of manny giving back to the fans, people, etc. that's really nice of Manny. Too bad some of you guys can't understand Tagalog. It's a really awesome vid, very emotional.

I am a big Pacquiao fan and I have been since I found out about him. I will always root for him to win. Probably no politician is 100% honest but I believe Pacquiao is working to help his people and his people love him for it. He treats everyone with respect outside the ring and fights his heart out inside the ring. He is one hell of a fighter.

Even when manny does something positive u still find ways to complain :bottle::bottle::bottle: It's pretty much like that in any thread where a fighter does something charitable. People will come in and hate regardless.

I respect where he came from to know because I only had a small taste of it..... And it fucking sucked U have to respect a guy like manny. Making something out of nothing and still being humble in the process. PAC doesn't care about materialistic things like some of these other boxers who wants to be seen in the most fancy cars, etc.

Why would you say that about someone you dont know personally? Just asking because guys on here go on and on about people they never even met like their brothers or something, and arent people saying that about GGG? So whos right? Thats right its just speculation does it matter who gave the most $ or just who you like as a boxer? Because as a former pro athlete, you see so many guys that are propped up by an agent, to go to this or that event to prop up the reputation, the guys that do it from the heart dont ask for cameras, newspaper, and media people to document it. you'd be dissappointed in sports in general if you were privy to the TRUTH about alot of these people. Guys are definitely running around on their wives and doing alot more dirt than you ever find out. We used to laugh with some of the guys that actually were doing these things initiated by agents and accountants, for endorsements and tax breaks. I've come to believe most if not all is just for more MONEY. Just a little inside info for you guys U ever heard of paragraphs bro??
